Cae Du is Well located for easy access to the many attractions the area has to offer,being close to Betws-Y-Coed, North Wales' most popular village. You are spoilt for choice with the variety of activities both inland and coastal. Hiking, climbing and canoeing, to mountain biking, fishing, golf and horse riding, you can even find the longest zip wire in Europe, a mile long.

There are also sightseeing attractions in abundance which include numerous castles and old towns as well as slate mines and mills. Vast sandy beaches and a stunning coastline are all to be explored, along with piers, waterfalls and parks There is even a cable car in Llandudno taking you up to The Great Orme, the list is endless.

Five adults and two dogs holidayed at Caedu on a Monday to Friday break. The accommodation was amazing and gardens stunning. We enjoyed relaxing in the spacious house, wandering round the beautiful gardens and even swimming in the river. We didn't need to venture out...More

Our second time as a large party to the cottage. The cottage has more than enough space for everyone. The kitchen is better equipped then my own at home. Spotlessly clean and well furnished. Garden and views that are great fun to explore or perfect...More

Weekly costs shown above are a total for the rental period of a full 1 week (7nights Friday to Friday) The approximate nightly cost is for a midweek break which is 4 nights Monday to Friday. The weekend cost is 3 night stay Friday to Monday.
All costs are fully inclusive of bedding, towels, heating, etc
Payment by cheque or bank transfer with non returnable10% deposit paid with booking, ballance to be paid 8 weeks before arrival
Weekends and mid week breaks available September to end of June. Weeks only July to September.

About the neighbourhood
4 miles away is Betws Y Coed, the most popular village in North Wales. This is an old village with a good selection of shops and places to eat, a railway station all in a beautiful setting. You can buy supplies here. Dolwyddelan, about a mile away, is a small village with a pub and Spar store, as well as the remains of a castle. Nearby is the 'Fairy Glen' and swallow falls both well known. Just beyond Dolwyddelan you can find the Ffestniog railway, a narrow gauge steam train which takes you through the mountains with fantastic views, you can stop and look around and catch the next train to continue your journey. More and more good food can be found nearby,
Getting around
A car is pretty essential, although there is a bus that runs right past the house and you just put your hand out to stop it, and it will stop anywhere. There is also a station less than a kilometer away this is also a request stop. the trains and buses run about every 2 hours and you can find information about the times at the house
