We stayed at the Boathouse while competing at a nationals event at Strangford Lough YC. Lindy and Henry were great hosts and had fantastic knowledge of navigation on the Lough (even lending us a chart!)! Will be back! Thanks for a great stay!

Thank you for your very kind review. We both loved having you all for the Sonata sailing event. I hope you'll come again with your boat.

Thank you both for such a lovely review. We were very happy that our German guests enjoyed the Lough at its best and I hope you will come back and stay with us next summer.

The Boathouse was probably one of 'the best holidays we have had'!!! That is pretty good coming from teenage adult offspring!!! The house is an authentic boathouse and there are gorgeous elements everywhere including the charming half door and spectacular sea views, upstairs and down....More

The area is also noted for having a very large proportion of artists and craft people.

Strangford Lough is surrounded by quaint towns and villages with excellent restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops. Local towns include:

- Comber - a plantation town and home of Thomas Andrews the designer of the Titanic. The town owes its development to the Industrial Revolution. The town's oldest industry is the spinning mill, which dates...
