This end terrace cottage sits in a quiet street in the centre of the town, just yards from the picturesque canal basin with its colourful boats. It's a short drive to the historic market towns of Chapel-en-le-Frith and the spa town of Buxton with its splendid Opera House and Crescent. Nearby Castleton offers a choice of underground caves to visit, and the National Trust's impressive estate at Lyme Park shouldn't be missed. In the other direction Manchester is easy to reach from Whaley Bridge station (5 minutes walk from the cottage), making this an ideal location to combine exploring the Peak District with some city shopping. this is our 3rd visit to Honeysuckle cottage and we'll be booking again. Its a perfect spot for exploring the peaks, with plenty of facilities in Whaley Bridge too. Very dog friendly and comfortable

In the centre of Whaley Bridge turn off the main road A5004 opposite the train station and follow the road immediately round to the left (running parallel with the main road). On the right hand side you will see a small row of shops. At the end of the shops turn right down narrow Chapel Street. Honeysuckle Cottage is on the right hand side, up some stone steps
