This end terrace cottage sits in a quiet street in the centre of the town, just yards from the picturesque canal basin with its colourful boats. The canal towpath runs by, offering miles of easy walking surrounded by the Peak District countryside. Set over three floors, the front entry to the property is on the middle floor where there is a modern lounge with a cosy wood burning stove. Downstairs the dining kitchen with access via a barn door to the paved rear patio with garden furniture, whilst upstairs are the two comfy bedrooms and toilet. Close to the beautiful Goyt Valley, one of the Peak District's undiscovered gems, this is an area of spectacular high moorland and interesting market towns. It's a short drive to the historic market towns of Chapel-en-le-Frith and the spa town of Buxton with its splendid Opera House and Crescent. Nearby Castleton offers a choice of underground caves to visit, and the National Trust's impressive estate at Lyme Park shouldn't be missed. In the other direction Manchester is easy to reach from Whaley Bridge station (5 minutes walk from the cottage), making this an ideal location to combine exploring the Peak District with some city shopping. Perfect base for walking in the Peaks

this is our 3rd visit to Honeysuckle cottage and we'll be booking again. Its a perfect spot for exploring the peaks, with plenty of facilities in Whaley Bridge too. Very dog friendly and comfortable

Disappointing

We had 3 nights at Honeysuckle Cottage Whaley Bridge. They assured me that the cottage would be deep cleaned before our arrival. I don't believe it had even been cleaned yet alone deep cleaned. I didn't expect a high level of luxury at that price...More

2018 holiday

We've had a lovely week in honeysuckle cottage, it really is home from home. The weather was outstanding, we walked for miles, didn't use the car.
