The Bothy is a single storey property sympathetically converted from the garden buildings of an old Victorian walled garden in a rural location, but close to Aberfeldy. The property has a comfortable double bedroom and delightful well-equipped kitchen/living area. The Bothy is ideal for sightseeing visitors as well as the more active, and you have the use of our flower garden and large meadow - ideal for picnics when the weather allows! For the colder months of the year the cottage offers oil-fired central heating as well as an open fire. We have plenty of parking and lots of room to hose down muddy mountain bikes in our old stable yard. There is also a drying room and separate barn for the undercover storage of bikes and motorbikes if required. We aim to be as flexible as we can so ...The Bothy is a single storey property sympathetically converted from the garden buildings of an old Victorian walled garden in a rural location, but close to Aberfeldy. This was our first stay at the Bothy & it certainly won’t be our last. Hosts, Sharon & David could not have been more welcoming. The beautiful vase of hand-picked wild flowers & fabulous homemade shortbread were just a couple of the delightful ‘extras’. The cottage itself has been tastefully decorated & the kitchen very well equipped, with everything you should require. Very much our home from home.

We booked The Bothy based on location and price after booking water activities nearby. All we can say is wow! It was a chance booking but it couldn’t have been more perfect. Sharon and David were fabulous hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The location was spot on for this part of Scotland - all the must see and do things a short drive away. We would love to come back and we have already recommended this stunning little cottage to friends before we even left!

The cosiest rental we have ever had. Quality furnishings and a great atmosphere. We loved the log fire and the home made shortbread. In fact we loved everything about the Bothy. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the location is perfect. We hope to be back next year. Thanks.

The Bothy is as lovely a holiday home as we've ever stayed in. Clean, comfortable with all the facilities you need for any length of stay, including a well appointed kitchen and a great shower, it's also in a quiet location yet not too far from Aberfeldy. Sharon and David are friendly and considerate hosts, and their cottage provides a great base for exploring the local towns and hills, and a comfortable place to come home to after a day out. Highly recommended.

Had a really lovely stay, the bothy is charming and well done up. The hosts were welcoming and the local coffee and homemade shortbread were nice touches. The location is great for exploring Perthshire and there was a good selection of maps and guides for the area. The garden and orchard were really nice to explore too. Would highly recommend staying here!

We were at The Bothy for 3 nights and it wasn't long enough! It is a lovely bothy with a great shower and nice garden to sit in. There is a fir for during the cooler nights plus the shortbread was yummy 😋

If you are looking for the ideal getaway in this area then look no further! The Bothy is everything you need and more. Spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could think of, it’s perfect for couples and incredible value for money. As mentioned in the other reviews, the extra touches such as the coffee, home baking and fresh flowers all add to your welcome. Sharon and David are warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the local area and they manage to strike the perfect balance between being at hand if needed but leaving you to enjoy the space as your own. The pheasants and red squirrels made an appearance at the bird feeder in the mornings and provided great entertainment with their crafty antics! The facilities are great, fully equipped kitchen and piping hot, powerful shower. All in all, there was only one problem and that was having to leave! :-( Seriously, don’t waste your time looking at anywhere else, if you need a cottage for 2 in the area, just book The Bothy, you’ll be so glad you did. We can not wait to return to this magic wee place 😊 Leigh & Fraser
