Amazing
Just had 5 nights in Yardie with my partner, kids and dog. We had a great time and the house had everything you could need (apart from WIFI). The scenery is incredible surrounding the house and there is loads to do locally. Loads of shops and restaurants too. Mike was fantastic and even helped us get the fire going! I woud absolutley stay here again.

Wonderful break with dogs and friends
Excellent location right on the sea front. With lots to see and visit beaches and walks couldn’t be better. The accommodation comfortably sleeps 6 and is excellent for dogs. We had a roaring log fire every night. Will be back.

Great cottage in superb location
This cottage is great for us because I can’t get upstairs so we only use the downstairs living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The owner is friendly and available if needed. The location could not be better, sea views and shops within easy reach. The cottage would be great for families and couples who want to be near the sea. There are a multitude of interesting places to visit including distilleries, castles and Baxter’s close by. It’s a wonderful base for a great holiday.

New Year Get Away
Lovely cosy house. Parking right outside the door. Well equipped kitchen. Nice big bedrooms, chest of drawers in them would have been good not a problem with us only being there for a few nights but would have been if there longer. Loads of toys, baby equipment and disabled seats, if required. Some wee tables in lounge fir putting drinks on would be good. Lovely sofas but hard to get out off. Really close to the sea great to hear it crashing against the rocks. Would definitely go back.

A very comfortable seaside cottage
The cottage, comfortable particularly with the log-burning stove going, was ideal for visits to the nearby Whisky Trail, the fish and chips from Portknockie which were, as Mike the owner said, were lovely, as for the icecream at Portsoy, that was amazing. It was also a good centre for visiting relatives and friends. Would we go back? Certainly.

Map
About the neighbourhood
This region has a contrasting landscape of lochs, mountains, forests and coastline and it's therefore no coincidence that it's one of the most popular holiday destinations in Scotland. Its popularity is easy to understand when you consider the mouth watering attractions within its boundaries; which include the beautiful Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park in the west and the wonderful forests, mountains and rivers which are characteristic of Tayside and Perthshire to the east. The city of Stirling can also be found in this area, with its rich historical significance in Scottish history and connections to William Wallace and Robert the Bruce. The beautiful and unique coastlines here, both on the west coast and east coast, are ideal holiday destinations. Stretching in the west from Oban in the north down to Strathclyde and the Ayr coast, and in the east the coast extends from Dundee and Angus south the along the Fife coast to Edinburgh.
