A small, studio style very private casita with an authentic thatched roof. Part of our 1 1/2 acre ranchito, totally green, ie solar powered with propane gas appliances. A small kitchenette with a two burner stove and small under counter refrigerator. The bathroom has a unique indoor/outdoor (screened) shower with views up through a mango tree. A 25 meter walk along a winding slate pathway gets you to the solar powered swimming pool. Nestled amongst mature mango trees and coconut palms - if you're a birdwatcher, the birds will thrill you! The owners home is 80 meters away so you feel like you are totally alone. WIFI on property. Two outside fireplaces to sit by, lots of shade and oh, did we mention quiet and privacy? We've tried hard to make the casita feel like it's your own piece of paradise for your stay. Our weekly rate is based on staying six nights and getting the seventh free!More

After landing in Cabo, renting a car, and trekking northwest on the Baja - we made our way to Mike and Tori's little oasis - tucked away amidst pepper farms, taco stands and desert dirt roads. What an amazing property these two ex-pats have created...More

A very special setting slightly inland from a more developed coastal area. The casita is a beautifully designed but no frills accommodation. The grounds are lovely with mango and palm trees. The pool was beautiful but slightly cool most of the time.

Lovely comfortable casita in beautiful grounds. The owners made me very welcome. Beautiful natural pool. Quite secluded, not easy to find, but definitely recommended if you enjoy peace and quiet.

About the neighbourhood
The area between Mex. HWY 19 and the Pacific Ocean is one of the most fertile agricultural areas in Baja. Made famous by an organic basil grower and of course, mangos. There are fields of basil, chiles, chives. oregano, rosemary, sometimes papayas, sage, tomatos - goes on and on. Typically there is a crop of some kind being grown all year round. A dirt road winds amongst these fields from the HWY to the ocean. The casita is approx. in the middle, off on a private access away from the dirt road so it is amazingly private, quiet and unforgettable. Surf breaks as close as 2.5km. The quaint 'Pueblo Magico' of Todos Santos, 7km away. Cabo San Lucas is a half hour drive and La Paz for whale shark watching and authentic Mexico city 45minutes. Fantastic sport fishing out in the Pacific with loc...
How to get there
From Hwy 1 in El pescadero turn west on a dirt road just south of the OXXO/Pemex gas station. There is a large sign pointing to Hotel Rancho Pescadero. Approx. 1km, 75m past 'Hierbabuena Restaurant' is an entrance on the right with a simple mesh gate and round river rock pillars. Go through this gate into the mangos and palm trees. 100m in is our gate, covered in ivy. Ring the red cowbell vigorously so we can hear it and we'll come out to greet you! See you soon!
