Spent a week here with 3 family members. Cottage is lovely, very clean and cosy.

It was an excellent property and a great location to tour the island. Owner was very attentive and easy to contact with any questions or concerns. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this place to sleep a lot of people... the size is fine, but there would be very limited privacy for a large group. Oh, and make sure to book your ferry from Prince Rupert LONG in advance.

Adele was very easy to get a hold of and super helpful with any of our questions and requests. we would stay here again and recommend this property. We loved the fire pit in the backyard and the big crab pot came in handy cooking our crab feast that we caught up at North beach.. James and Corinne

Adele's place is fantastic! It is very well located, a stone's throw from Port Clement's little grocery store and cafe, but it still felt private and unique. There were so many wonderful treasures in the house itself, such as interesting knickknacks on the shelves, snowshoes on the ceiling, and great books on the bookshelf. There was a good deck overlooking the ocean, with wonderful sunsets. Adele herself is a lovely person, and very friendly and accommodating. (Just a note - everyone we met on Haida Gwaii was friendly and wonderful!) We were at Adele's for almost a week, and we enjoyed every minute of it. Our friends from Toronto also gave it a 10 out of 10! We highly recommend it.

The location couldn't be better; centrally located, quiet residential area, very relaxing.

I know that longer reviews are usually considered to be better but honestly anything I will add after the “Wow” in the title will not communicate just how amazing this property and Adele is. Fully equipped house, 2 meters from the ocean. Amazing sunsets and sunrises and amazing people all around. If your path leads you to Haida Gwaii and specifically Port Clements this is the place to stay!

Where to start! 6 out 5 Stars in every category Super host! Adel aloud myself and three dogs to stay at her one of a kind ocean front home! The tub! The chair! The deck! The master bedroom! The ocean view in this room is shared with the rest of the main living spaces in the house even the entrance!! In a 1 minute walk you are at the grocery store well stocked, there is a take out restaurant, also a sit in restaurant/ bar is being renovated atm! The harbour and museum are 2-4 minute walk away! Adel is even better then the house! Adel answered all my questions. Was very helpful! MOST IMPORTANT to me was letting my dogs to stay at her place to allow me to fully experience the archipelago! It was very helpful! My dogs are tired from the experience almost two weeks after leaving! We have plans to be back this summer! Thank you Adel!! 6 out 5 stars! Super host! Please if you do get the chance to stay here appreciate it love it enjoy it!!

Adele was the perfect hostess from the start, including answering the questions that we had prior to booking. The pictures do not start to describe this property. Every day, we found new unique treasures both inside and outside. The location was 100% ideal for excursions (centrally located) but also for enjoyment of the property itself - right on the waterfront of Massett Inlet. Beachcombing quickly became a favourite activity either in the morning or in the evening before the amazing sunsets. Adele welcomed my daughter's Bengal Cat without hesitation and "Peach" thoroughly enjoyed herself and quickly became a minor celebrity in Port Clements. I can't say enough how much we enjoyed this trip and Adele's Blue House. Renting this house instead of hotel rooms made the experience so much more relaxing for everyone. And the water pressure in the shower! Fantastic and a rare find compared to other places that I have rented. We are already planning a return trip and there is nowhere else that we would want to stay. Thank you so much, Adele. A bucket list vacation made so much better by you and your Blue House!

Haida Gwaii is magical. Adele was a lovely host- checking in and making sure we had all we needed. The location is beautiful and the people are the islands’ biggest treasure. We will absolutely return and highly recommend a stay at the Blue House in Port Clements.

This was an amazing holiday in the very spiritual Haida Gwaii. This is a quaint bungalow that very well served my needs. The claw foot tub was so comfy to soak and watch the sea as it breathed. Adele is an instant friend and was attentive to every need. Loved this peaceful retreat!!
