A beautiful barn conversion that boasts superb open plan living downstairs yet maintains a traditional feel. There is a cosy wood burning stove and comfy sofas which will make it a treat for a winter break. At the other end of the building is a set of French windows that open out into the enclosed patio garden. Upstairs the master bedroom has bi-fold doors to a Juliet balcony and an en-suite shower room. Also on this small working farm is a well stocked carp lake, a children's play area and the opportunity to feed Ruby - the farm's friendly, rare breed Berkshire pig. To the north is Widemouth bay and the bustling tourist town of Bude while to the west is the stunning and infamous village Boscastle, nestled in a steep valley where the river has cut a way through the steep cliffs to the sea. There are secluded coves, majestic views, wildlife and even a blow hole. Accommodation Ground Floor: The front door leads into the open plan ground floor of the barn. At one end is the kitchen/dining area with a large island unit including integral fridge and freezer. There is a range of fully fitted units and a dining table and chairs. A set of French doors lead to the garden. At the other end of the property are comfortable sofas, a wood burning stove and flatscreen TV with Freeview. Stairs leading to: First Floor: The stairs open on to a landing area that has doors leading to: Master bedroom with 5' bed, storage, bi-fold doors to Juliet balcony with rural views and an en-suite shower room with WC and hand basin. Family bathroom with P shaped bath and shower over, WC and hand basin. Twin bedroom. Second double bedroom with 4'6' bed and storage. Exterior: There is a private drive with parking for up to 3 cars. The garden is enclosed but would not detain the most experienced dog escapologists. There is garden furniture and a kettle barbecue. Facilities & Services Downstairs has an under-floor electric heating system while there are electric on demand radiators upstairs. There is also a wood burning stove. The kitchen has a range of cupboards & work tops. There is an electric oven and hob, a microwave, toaster, kettle and separate fridge & freezer. There is a dishwasher. There is a communal laundry room that is shared with other holiday lets at the farm that includes a number of washing machines and tumble driers. The sitting room has a digital TV & DVD player. There is an iron & ironing board. There is unlimited WiFi. Miscellaneous Electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are included but you will need to provide your own beach towels. There is parking available for 3 cars on the drive. Regrettably there is no smoking. A maximum of 3 well behaved dogs may stay in the barn at a small additional price of £30 per dog per week, but dogs may not be left unattended in the property. There is a cot and high chair available on request. General Booking Information Arrival / Departure is normally a Friday. Short breaks are available during quieter periods. £200 pre-authorised to your credit or debit card as a security deposit is required.More

Our first time here and it was excellent. Barn is superbly situated where all you hear are singing birds and the occasional hello from either a cow or sheep. The signal is low and WiFi was difficult which isn’t a problem when all you want...More

Our 2nd stay in Tizzy Barn and our 4th stay at Trevillian Farm . Would never consider staying anywhere else in North Cornwall .
