We have stayed at Finlog half a dozen times over the past couple of years which speaks for itself in that we really like it.
It a very comfortable log cabin with an easy to use log fire and the wood store is always well stocked - take matches and paper with you though.
The beds are comfortable and the sofas are large and cosy. Don't expect to be disturbed as there's no internet access and the only phone signal is next to the wood store, standing on a brick whilst holding the phone at a 45° angle parallel to the roof!
With no street lighting (there's no street) it's totally dark when the sun goes down and all you can hear is the babbling brook at the end of the garden, it's very relaxing.
Bradworthy isn't much to speak about but it has a decent pub. It seems like it's in the middle of nowhere because the only access is down long narrow lanes, however once your on the main Atlantic Highway it's very easy to access places like Bude, Clovely and Padstow.
