Lovely stay
Good base for you to explore the island. Dog friendly and our dog was comfortable. More a weekend retreat I would say than a week long stay. Just personal preference with regards to refrigerator size and I don't use microwaves, as I say just a personal preference. The nook is kept clean and tidy and you get your own parking spot. Comfortable bed and sitting area when I could a seat, thanks to our dog who bagsied one of the sofa seats with her blanket.

Gorgeous place just right for 2. Great location for exploring the whole island.
We have just spent 3 nights at Newchurch Nook. It's a perfect place for 2 people to stay, very clean and very well equipped with finishing touches adding a lovely cosy feel. Lisa and Rob were brilliant hosts and made us feel very welcome. We would definately return to The Nook again.

Secret garden
Fabulous location in a very quiet and pretty area. The accommodation was spotless and had everything we needed with beautiful decor and presentation. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable with plenty of private outdoor space and a parking space.
We were ideally located for the garlic farm, the local pub was within walking distance and just across the road and up the cycle path was the Pedallers cafe which does a great breakfast if you do not want to cook.

Review: The Nook
We spent 4 nights at The Nook Monday 17th August - Friday 21st August. It was a lovely place, perfect for a couple’s short break. It was a really nice space to relax and was the perfect size for 2 people. Lisa was a fantastic host, she responded quickly to a couple of messages at the time of booking and before we were due to arrive. She met us as we pulled up in our allocated parking spot and walked us around to the garden of the nook. She explained that the key was in the door and that she didn’t want to come any further as they had ensured that the property was clean and wanted to ensure that they stuck to the Covid Secure protocol. The property had everything we needed and we would definitely recommend it to anybody wanting to explore the island.

Fabulous location for short break with the dogs
Superb self-contained annexe with dog-friendly garden and flooring, Lisa and Russ very friendly and welcoming. Ideal location for walks along the Red Squirrel Trail and Garlic Farm a short drive away, with beaches and National Trust properties all in easy reach. Local pub (Pointer Inn) within walking distance with excellent food. A wonderful break with our two dogs, away from the drama in the world right now.

Great winter cottage break
Spent 4 days at the Nook; very comfortable and warm. Ideally situated in Newchurch, lovely village with super country pub.
Yards away from cycle trail.
The Nook is perfectly equipped for a comfy stay. Real wood/coal burning stove which kept us warm (fuel supplied free). Both of us slept well and enjoyed the quiet privacy the Nook offers.

Fantastic Accomodation *****
The Nook is a great space for 2 people. Everything is lovely and clean and Lisa seems to have thought of everything to make your stay a real home from home - which in my experience is rare. Newchurch is ideally situated for exploring the island and the Nook is right by the RedSquirrel Cycle path. I would definitely recommend the Nook and would visit again.
