Pen-Y-Graig Cottage is a 150yr old former longhouse that has recently been brought back to life; set in its own private gardens; with the Brecon Beacons National Park quite literally on the door step! There are breath-taking views over the beacons, public walks nearby, and fantastic roads for both motorcyclists and cyclists suiting anybody that enjoys the outdoor life. The cottage is peaceful and secluded with no near neighbours, just our small herd of alpacas gazing over the fence! yet just a short distance from the cottage Brynamman is a thriving village; with three public houses two serving good food, a cinema, petrol station and a café and post office within the Black Mountain Centre. It was a short holiday with the grandchildren which suited all our needs. Extremely well equipped down to the 'Champagne ' glasses. Lorraine was the perfect host, non intrusive but there if needed. The children loved feeding the Alpacas and meeting the farm animals
