About the neighbourhood
In the local area there are many things to see and do, from a long list of walks for all abilities, to exploring some of Englands Yorkshire dales and exciting underground caves (White Scar Visitor Caves being a 10 minute drive). The Market town of Settle is a 15 minute drive away, and the old market village of Hawes is 20 minutes in the other direction. Only 5 minutes up the road you will find the iconic Ribblehead Viaduct which is well worth a photo opportunity, especially in the Summer months when steam trains can be seen crossing over the viaduct on certain days. Ingleton waterfalls, Malham cove The yorkshire 3 peaks walk, Ingleboruogh cave and Clapham woodsand numerous walk are all close by.
