Set in 22 acres of rolling sheep pasture, Weaver's Cottages have been refurbished to the highest standards throughout and now provide luxurious accommodation. This magnificent, sustainably-run building stands in celebration of the Wealden cloth trade that once dominated this part of Kent. The six cottages have been finished impeccably and are tastefully decorated with a mix of modern and classical furnishings that offer elegance, comfort and luxury. Our four, two-bedroom cottages feature a delightfully designed open plan living area, with floor to ceiling glass windows and doors, lead up to two stylish bedrooms. We also have two luxurious one-bedroom cottages, one with a contemporary 4 poster bed and en suite bath and shower room; the second, with a decadent verdigris copper bath in its bedroom (and en suite shower room). All bedrooms are furnished to a high standard with your comfort in mind and with dressing tables and hairdryers provided. The cottages’s South facing terrace is perfect for an alfresco drink, or enjoy a BBQ whilst watching the sun set down the sheep valley from The Byre’s terrace. Naturally cocooned by the landscape, and dating from 1607, Weaver's Cottages sits in a cosy, secluded position to provide a true haven away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The gardens have been planted with care and consideration to give them a delicate, natural feel that is in keeping with our wider environment. Grasses and ferns provide shelter and texture, while perennials offer vibrant colour throughout the year. The lily pond is the ideal retreat for some peaceful reflection accompanied by the relaxing sound of the waterfall. Countryside walks through fields and forests surround the farm, and the pretty village of Benenden with The Bull at Benenden and the Woodcock pub are only a short stroll away. There is plenty to do in this picturesque part of Kent with the historic towns of Cranbrook and Tenterden close by. There are some outstanding restaurants and many interesting attractions including Sissinghurst Castle Gardens, Great Dixter, Scotney and Bodiam Castles, Bodiam Boating Station and Bedgebury Pinetum. It is a vibrant wine region and home to Chapel Down, Gusbourne, Woodchurch and Hush Heath to name just a few of the local vineyards. Also, within half an hour is the seaside town of Rye and Camber Sands, with its five miles of fine golden sand. If you would like additional space, The Byre is available for communal dining with a large dining table seating 20 and a spacious terrace for barbecues - there is an additional charge for its use. For parties and events, The Oak Barn, a magnificent grade II listed barn provides the perfect venue. The barn is licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships and can seat approximately 135 guests for formal dining with additional capacity for evening receptions. Signage
A nice venue but with terrible signage especially at night when trying to find it. Your car park sign is the size of a postage stamp.

Hi Neil, thank you for your review! I'm so sorry you had trouble trying to find our farm at night. Because we live in a lovely rural village in the heart of Kent's Outstanding Area of Natural Beauty we don't light our signs, but that is why recommend all our guests use our what3words///stuns.onlookers.seriously, which directs you to the middle of our courtyard.

How to get there
For our precise location our What3Words is ///stuns.onlookers.seriously (N.B. our postcode may take you to one of the other seven farms). If you are coming by car we are on the right hand side in the bottom of the valley when driving from Benenden's crossroads towards Iden Green, just look for the two white Oasts and the large barn.
