There are windows on three sides so the apartment is flooded with light and offers beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and heritage trail. Outside there is a tranquil seating and barbeque area overlooking the river as well as storage for motorbikes, bicycles, kayaks and other outdoor pursuit kit with wash-down space. Open all year round, the Stables is wheelchair friendly and can be hired along with The Hayloft for larger parties of 10.

PAIR THIS PROPERTY WITH THE HAYLOFT FOR GROUP BOOKINGS.
We stayed here for 16nts whilst we had some work done on our house. Despite being only one mike from our own home it felt like a holiday. Apartment is fantastic and well kitted out with everything you can possibly need and Claire the owner goes over and above to accommodate. A must for anyone wanting to stay in Laxey.

One word absolutely amazing!!
I stayed here along with colleagues while I working in the Isle of Man and was blown away with the hospitality shown to us by Clare, such a warm and welcoming human being. The apartment was in immaculate condition and on arrival there was no need to go shopping because Clare had already been for us. This place is a pure gem and the owners Phil and Clare are exceptionally people. I can guarantee your find this place absolutely amazing and definitely love the people. Highly highly recommend!

Clare was here on arrival with a welcome pack to die for, the apartment was sparkling everything we needed for our visit to our large family that live on the island, more than met our expectations, had a great time with no worries just what we all needed,

We have never felt so at home, while being away.
We were overwhelmed by our welcome to Laxey. Although we arrived later than expected, Claire was there to greet us and hand over keys to what is possibly the nicest holiday apartment we have ever stayed in. And better still was the food package she left us. Muffins, cakes,and tasty treats, coffee, tea, bacon, eggs, bread....everything needed for our first night and morning breakfast without having to worry about shopping. And even better still for me at least everything was wheelchair accessible with a wheelchair also available for use, stored in the garden shed along with a POOL TABLE!
Really a wonderful weeks break in a wonderful location in a wonderfully decorated house run by a wonderfully helpful woman.

Excellent stay in Laxey
Really excellent accommodation with every detail catered for. Extremely well appointed apartment in an ideal position within Laxey village.
Our party of four had a brilliant time and we will definitely be staying there again.

Fantastic - feels like you're really at home!
Excellent accommodation. Well designed and equipped apartment with real attention to detail in beautiful river location. The welcome from Claire was perfect - unhurried, friendly and informative and then left us to settle in. A well stocked fridge of breakfast goodies made our first morning very relaxed, plus storecupboard bits and pieces that are useful but you don't really want to have to buy are a plus. Bedrooms and bathrooms are stylish and comfy with extra pillows and bedding. An outside drying room was useful as it was pretty wet during our stay! All in all a perfect long weekend retreat that felt like a real home. We will definitely come back.

Wonderful accommodation
What a find. Our stay at 'The Stables' was just fantastic & it was ideal for my disabled husband who was able to move around the spacious apartment with ease. The wet room considered his every need too, with adjustable shower heads, grab rails, suitable height mirrors & space to move with ease.
We received such a friendly welcome from Jill, whilst Claire was on holiiday, & Claire's friendly face appeared as soon as she was back.
We loved the bottle of bubbly awaiting us together with thoughtful & tasty provisions to keep us going until we could shop.
The apartment is ideally situated for exploring the island & at the end of each day it was great to come 'home' to such comfort . We so appreciated the range of appliances too. Definitely 'home from home' - it certainly needs at least a 20 star rating.

Superb Quality Holiday Accommodation.

A well presented and comfortable apartment
The owners have gone to a great deal of trouble to present the apartment to a very high standard. A generous "pack" greets each visitor which is very nice. The living area is bright and comfortable, and the bedrooms have comfortable beds. There are three loos in all! A large walk in shower in the main bedroom was excellent. The whole apartment is ready made for wheel chair users also. The centre of Laxey is a 5 minute walk and the little port is just 15 mins away. The equipment is extensive and there is a large outdoor area for bar-b-cueing. We would be happy to recommend either of the two apartments.

Laxey is a beautiful village steeped in History situated on the east coast of the Isle of Man. Once a Mining Village and popular victorian hotspot there is plenty to see and do. As well as a truly unspoilt beach and harbour, Laxey boasts idyllic glens, a vibrant village with boutique shops, an abundance of pubs and eateries, a miniature steam train, a tram station, a mountain railway and the Largest working water wheel in the world. Not bad for a village that is only a couple of kms across.
