Beautiful cottage set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, our guests love the peace and quiet after the hustle and bustle of life. The only sounds you will hear at night are the owls or foxes. About the neighbourhood
There are numerous excellent walks from the door of varying length, the popular Elham Valley Way, which is part of the North Downs Way, runs right by our property. We can always recommend a suitable walk. The Mermaid, our village pub, serves excellent food. Lizzie, the chef, specialises in fish dishes and produces some fantastic meals. We also have an excellent cafe, The Tadpole, which again has a very creative chef using seasonal ingredients. People travel a long way to have a breakfast here! Gallys, our farm shop, sells locally sourced produce Canterbury - cathedral, theatre, restaurants, shopping Dover - castle, cliff top walks, port Whitstable - seaside resort, famous for oysters! Sandwich - medieval town
Getting around
Canterbury is easily reached within 5 minutes, a park and ride is the best way to get to and from the city. Dover is 20 minutes away along the A2
