Our lovely 2 bed property can be found on a quiet little street just 50m from the amazing south facing Newbiggin bay with easy access to the promenade & beach which is great for social distancing. If you're working, we have 2 designated workstations with a fast broadband connection & free Wifi and our rooms can be closed off for that extra peace and quiet. Our courtyard is secluded so you still have access to the outdoors and sea air while remaining safe indoors where we have a dehumidifier keeping the air as clean as possible. The property sleeps up to 5 people in 2 bedrooms (max 4 adults in 2 double beds) and provides guests with a spacious, fresh, modern and comfortable place to stay. The lounge is furnished with comfortable seating and has a SMART TV with Netflix & integrated DVD player so there's always something good to watch even if the weather isn't great you can curl up with a cosy throw and connect with the world or binge on Netflix box sets! Our fully kitted out kitchen has everything you need to make self-catering easy including a brand new washer/dryer, electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, family size fridge freezer, toaster and a full range of utensils. Essential pantry items are always available and toilet tissue & hand soaps, paper towels & sanitisers are always provided for you too. We have a separate dining room which can open up into the living space. The extending dining table comfortably seats 5 so you can enjoy a family meal in comfort, great if you prefer a night in! The dining room also has a single sofa bed, offering downstairs sleeping facilities if needed and can be closed off to provide a private space for sleeping - or just clearing some head space. Upstairs, the master bedroom is a place of relaxation and comfort and is simply decorated with a feature wall mural of Newbiggin Bay. Furnished with double bed [superior mattress], dresser & bedsides - its a great place to fall asleep while listening to the sound of the waves. Bedroom 2 is our Family Room. Furnished with a triple bunk bed comprising double bed with single above [single bunk is not suitable for over 16s]. There is also a junior 'ready bed' and a single under-bed trundle available. The room has plenty of storage as well as loads of play space for your little pirates so they can enjoy our treasure chest of pirate themed books, sea creatures, games, dress ups and DVDs to occupy them if they're off school. [there is a reduced but plentiful supply of toys & books at pres so that we can isolate them for 72 hours between guest stays]. If you are travelling without children, the toys can easily be secreted away. Our recently refurbished bathroom (2020) is part tiled and our power shower over the bath provides ample hot water - perfect for rinsing off the sand you have brought back from the beach. Out back, our enclosed patio is secure, private and not overlooked and is a great space for kids to play safely away from other people. Out front, on-street parking is available free of charge and public transportation links are available within a short walking distance. What we provide as standard: Reasonable use of gas and electricity, a choice of either anti allergy or duck filled feather pillows, hairdryer, complimentary WIFI, toilet tissues and other toiletries, cleaning materials & tea towels, free on- street parking. What can be included for a small charge: Linen pack (freshly laundered bed linen for all required beds / fluffy towel bale). Avoid disappointment We would always advise guests to book early to avoid being disappointed as we are listed on several holiday accommodation sites as well as the usual media spots. Directions: 'Bolt Hole by the beach' is situated at NE64 6XH, just off the sea front in Newbiggin by the Sea and is within an easy commute to Northumberland's many National Trust & English Heritage attractions. We are a privately owned and operated holiday letting property established in 2015 and are in no way affiliated with other holiday letting properties with similar name(s). For your peace of mind, we are happy to provide you with a copy of our holiday let registration and our holiday let insurance policy. Arrivals and Departures: We aim to be as flexible as possible depending on the season with arrivals typically from 3pm and departures before 10am. More

The main street is lined with mature trees and the village is not a through route for traffic. Just a short stroll from the property you will find the heart of the village with its wealth of eateries, vintage shops and art & leisure facilities. For provisions, there are 2 'mini mart' type shops, a larger Co-op, butcher, baker, fishmonger etc. On the beach, there is a park close to the Maritime Centre which has a beach front café and gift shop. Even in the height of the summer months, the BLUE FLAG beach is never overcrowded so you will be able to 'relax to the max' during your stay. There are pubs, cafes /restaurants & shops within a ...
