Alnwick and the coast less the half an hour drive in fact all major attractions are with in easy reach. Come and experience Northumberland there is so much to do and see in our unspoilt county. Ideal location for visiting all Northumberland, excellent for walking, (Simonside Hills, Cheviots , Thrunton Woods) , climbing, bouldering (Callaly), Fishing. There are many ancient sites from Stone Age (nearby), Border Reviver country numerous castles (Alnwick, Bamburgh, Warkworth, Chillingahm). stunning beaches , visit the Farne Islands , cross the causeway to Holy Island and enjoy being cut off from the world until the tide allows you back to the mainland. Have your passport ready to enter the Scottish Borders, buy cashmere at Hawick. We have 3 very beautiful and stunning valleys nearby Coquet Valley (Alwinton ) Ingram and Harthope near Wooler. Staying on a bed and breakfast you will be shareing our home which is a working farm in some of the most stunning counryside of northumberland. We are very central for visting all parts of the beautiful coast line and castles, 20 minutes drive from the historic market town of Alnwick where the castle and gardens are. Scotlands border county 40 mins drive. Closer to hand we have the national park, Cragside, Belsay Hall
