A very warm welcome to Northumberland
My partner and I have just spent a lovely week in this pretty, charming cottage. Our hostess, Jacquie, and her husband made us, and our black labrador, very welcome and there was a lovely selection of goodies to welcome all of us, including eggs from the chickens who lived at the top of the amazing dog friendly garden. Good on-sight parking is available and with easy access to so much lovely countryside, good roads and lots of historical venues nearby this is a super place to stay. We'll be back!

A lovely quiet home from home.
This cosy little house is in a quiet village in the beautiful countryside near Hadrian's Wall. It is comfortable and was very well equipped with everything I could want for my two week stay. The owner is lovely and did everything to make me feel at home, with eggs from her chickens and a delicious gluten free cake when I arrived. Thank you Jacqueline.

So much stuff packed into a great little cottage
We stayed 3 nights here at the end of May and really enjoyed the property with our dog Kevin. It's small but perfectly formed and the owners crams as many goodies as she can into it.The rear garden is huge and dog friendly, we were lucky to sample home made scones, lemon drizzle cake, fresh laid eggs...the list of stuff provided is endless. The village is easily placed as its near the main road so access to the area is easy.Again thanks for making our stay really enjoyable.

Perfect
What a cosy place to stay. It has everything you could want. We had a lovely welcome with a bottle of wine, homemade Lemon Drizzle cake, Scones and Jam, milk, fresh eggs from the resident chickens and even a few treats for our dog. There was Coffees and teas. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in and the linen smelt so fresh and I loved the bath. The conservatory was a great place to look at the stars at night. It has a lovely garden and a summer house. We felt very welcome here and its handy for Hadrians Wall walks and activities and lots of other walks. Just a nice quiet get away with very few people. We loved it .

Perfect cottage for a perfect holiday
I cannot recommend this property - or its owner highly enough. Jaqueline has gone out of her way to provide a comfortable holiday home that has been furnished with everything you could want to make your stay pretty near perfect. Her generosity extended to freshy made scones and home made jam and cake on arrival, to fresh fruit and chocolate in the lounge and toiletrie in the bathroom. Covide regulations were adhered to strictly and far from being a restriction, we found it reassuring that she was taken appropriate precautions. We would have no hesitation in returning - in fact, we're looking forward to it.

Perfect
Nothing to fault and Everything to recommend. Wine, milk and fresh eggs in the fridge, bowl of fruit, chocolates and a selection of coffees and teas. Of course the much lauded scones, with home made jam and lemon cake didn't dissapoint. Too many little details to mention, that made our stay an absolute pleasure. There is so much to see and do that makes the location an ideal to explore from. Many Hadrian's wall sites are easily accessible as is Haltwhistle which has pubs and restaurants. If you choose to stay here you won't be disappointed, it was absolutely fantastic. We stayed with our two Border terriers and Jacqueline couldn't of been more welcoming and informative. We will definitely come back.

Cosy, comfortable, superbly equipped cottage in a great location
Comfortable and surprisingly spacious accomodation. Well equipped and the provison of basic necessities makes it easy to turn up and not need to find a shop! Great location- peaceful and quiet and yet close to the main road and within 10 minutes drive of shops and places to eat, as well as Hadrian's Wall Made better by the warm welcome from the owners who live on site and for whom nothing seems to be too much trouble. The welcome pack of milk, wine, chocolates, fresh fruit, butter, home made jam, eggs from the chickens in the garden and scones and cakebaked by the owners does exactly what it says- makes you feel welcome This was our second visit and we are already planning a return trip

Loved This Place
Lovely warm welcome from hosts. Delicious and generous treats awaited us. Felt our dog was welcomed rather than tolerated. He also had a generous basket of treats and essentials. The cottage is delightful and Jacqueline has thoughtfully equipped it with everything you could possibly need, including personal items you might have forgotten. We felt very comfortable. I enjoyed the use of the large garden and the company of their delightful granddaughter, who showed me around it. We especially enjoyed our cooked breakfast which can be ordered and delivered to your door, and I also took one of Jacquelines home made cakes back home, which was delicious. Cottage is located within 10 minutes of Hadrians Wall sites. Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous and so much more
Just home from a fantastic stay at The Old Brewery Coach House. Lovely warm & friendly welcome from Jackie & Ronnie. They can’t do enough for you. Coach House is simply stunning. It has everything you could want and much more. Yummy home baking, wine, milk, eggs and fruit waiting for you on arrival. Jackie is a fantastic cook, we can thoroughly recommend her lasagne. Our little dog Maisie loved the chews left for her and made a new friend in the gorgeous Max. We are looking forward to planning our next stay.

Comfortable cottage
The coach house is like a tardus. It is so compact yet inside feels spacious. We had a lovely three day visit and were made to feel so welcome. Jacqueline - the host - provides more than you could imagine in the cottage. Every detail is catered for. The area has much to offer with lots of stunning views, historical sites, plenty of little villages to visit, a variety of eating places and shopping experiences. I would recommend this location and in particular this cottage.
