Although the annexe is separate from the main house, we are only a few steps away if required! We are happy to provide advice on local activities and eating out etc. If we can help we will! It has its own private entrance which means you can come and go as you please.

Stayed for 2 nights with husband and dog. Lovely accommodation, great attention to detail. Breakfast was really good and amenities. Lovely village to walk around and visit Didcot, Wantage and Oxford. Excellent communication from owner. We enjoyed 2 evening meals at the Red Lion food was excellent and dogs allowed in the bar. Would highly recommend.

Nice self contained, fresh and clean annexe (totally separate to the main house). Was a really cute little place and the breakfast and amenities were amazing! Fresh home made bread with lovely spreads, tea, coffee...etc and even juice and cereals. Had a cheeky hot chocolate in bed watching TV after returning from the pub after having food and some drinks. Parking was a sweet spot on the owners drive which was lovely. Me & my partner didn't stop smiling the whole time we were there, it was lovely. Gem in the middle of a quiet location!

Beautiful little annexe set in a charming village. Very clean and comfortable, the attention to detail was amazing. Facilities provided so you order a takeaway and eat including menus and delivery cost. I liked the fact it was completely self contained although the lovely friendly owner was only next door. Yummy homemade bread and jam and cereal provided for breakfast. Huge variety of hot drinks in cute little jars, hand labelled a lovely little touch. Super fast wifi 😊

About the neighbourhood
Blewbury is a picturesque downland village set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It has two thriving pubs, both serving food, a garden centre with farm shop, and a cafe, along with a petrol station and Post Office, tennis courts and many scenic walking routes, not least our proximity to the Ridgeway! The Harwell Campus is about 4 miles away and the new slip road (Chilton Interchange) provides much faster links to the A34 as it is only 3 miles away. Milton Park is 6.5 miles. Our nearest town is Didcot which is under 10 minutes drive and has Sainsburys, Tesco and Aldi as well as the The Orchard Centre with a selection of shops, Cineworld cinema and Cornerstone Theatre. The market towns of Wallingford and Wantage are 15 mins .
Getting around
FOOT There are many public footpaths in and around the village offering scenic walks including the Ridgeway. We are a 1 minute walk from the Red Lion pub and about 7 minutes from the Blueberry pub. 5 minutes from the garden centre and under 10 minutes from the petrol station/shop. CAR Didcot is under 4 miles Abingdon is approximately 13 miles Oxford city centre is approximately 20 miles Harwell campus is 4 miles Milton park is 6.5 miles RAIL Didcot Parkway train station has direct trains to London Paddington in 45 minutes, with Reading and Oxford both under 15 minutes BUS There are buses running from Blewbury to Didcot regularly from Monday to Friday. From Didcot there are buses to Wallingford, Abingdon, Wantage and Oxford.
