At Wild Harvest we have three TimberTipis (accommodating 14 in total) each simply furnished with coir carpet, wood-burner, cream cotton bedding, duvets and four single sofa/chair beds and ten small doubles/large single sofa beds (can be put together). A shared gas shower shed and a separate loo/washbasin are provided along with a wooden hut communal room with seating/table, a wood-burner,a kettle and gas hob, fridge freezer 60 seconds off site, phone charging/hair drying points inside the cosy hut. Guests have access to a covered fire pit with log seating, two picnic benches and a wood fired pizza oven for outside eating/drinking. Group bookings welcome - you get the whole site for a bargain price so we do require you add on some of our fun, creative or relaxing activities such as natural crafts, wild food walks or instinctive archery... On a farm between the two East Yorkshire Villages of Melbourne and East Cottingwith surrounded by flat farmland with open views, the nearby attractive market town of Pocklington is a cyclable 7 miles away. Local pubs for eating out are the charismatic Boot and Shoe in Ellerton (1.5miles) and the Melbourne Arms (1.6miles). We are very close to York Maze, Elvington Air Museum and for outdoor enthusiasts there is a swimming/boating lake just five miles away. For a night out or a day's shopping the beautify city of York is just a ten minute drive.
