The place is dirty and suck, and poor property management & services
I made the booking online via Booking.com on 5 Nov 2022 for two nights apartment for five persons (including two moms and three kids) in Nottingham from 30/12/2022 to 1/1/2023. When we arrived at the house in the evening on 30 Dec 2022, later we found the poor condition of the house. It is making us very angry and upset: tepid water for shower, the burnt wash basin, heavy black mold, used tooth paste in the bathtub, room window blinds with mold, and a smelly sofa in the living room. It is intolerable and not acceptable. We have kids, the condition would make them sick. We contacted the Huku and Booking.com customer services immediately via their communication channels. We raised questions about the filthy situation, and the hot water shower was not working at all (after running for 30 minutes, it was only lukewarm. Literally, it was ice cold during this weather). However, the property manager just told us to relax. Did she expect their guests to only wipe their bodies with towers instead of taking a proper shower under this winter weather? The customer services of Booking.com and the property manager did not provide any tangible help at all. We ended up last minute having to organise different accommodation (for 5 people). I messaged in the communication platform that we had left and left the key back in the key box. Then a lengthy discussion with the property and customer services of Booking.com started. They just made up a tone of excuses to stall my complaints. First, they said we should find the instruction. The instructions mentioned that it is not being found. We did not have the lock passcode for the key either during check-in. Only a staff member was there to call the property manager to confirm. The property management has left no instructions properly or sent us in advance. We had to wait outside the door (cold and dark) for her to confirm. After we got the code, then she left immediately without further information. How could you expect travelers to search for it? It is not an Easter egg hunt! On 31 Dec 2022, a day later, the manager just messaged us that they had sent an engineer to check and the house was warm, and other water taps could be used. They just missed my complaint that the washing basin had hot water except for the shower. I am not talking about the house temp. I strongly asked for a refund, then property management made an excuse that the system told them we had stayed. As I said, we had already left the house on 30 Dec night; how could they enter the house on 31 Dec without noticing there were no people living in there? When I further complained and ask for a refund, they (Booking.com and Huku) just passed the buck! Huku said I needed to cancel with Booking.com, then Booking.com said it needed written confirmation from Huku, and finally Booking.com said it is Huku policy that I cannot cancel. This is a complaint case! Was this how they do business as usual? It has been 10 days since the disputes. Can you imagine our distress? We were first shocked by the filthy condition of the house and then searched for hotel rooms at midnight of new year's eve. The hotel expenses already cost us a fortune (£671.51). I still have to go through a lengthy discussions of complaints.

Great for groups!
Me and my friends stayed for a weekend and it was amazing for us. Spacious and had all the amenities provided. We had a problem with the hot water but the host Aimee was so helpful and fixed the problem ASAP.
