Bamboo Cottage is a peaceful forest hideaway of approx 40sqm and is located in a tranquil position of the property perched on a hill and tucked away under the canopy of trees with beautiful sea and countryside views. A short stroll from the carpark will lead you to this magic little hideaway. It features a kitchenette with a fridge, sink, toaster, microwave, crockery and cutlery. The cottage features a lovely little bedroom with a view through the window out onto the natural vegetation providing guests with ultimate privacy. The bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds or a kingsize bed depending on guests' requirements. Because this little gem is quite small, we have taken a great deal of care to optimize the function of the space. The cottage is modern, clean and cozy and offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. The living area is furnished with a gorgeous, large, comfortable couch and opens onto the deck with beautiful sea and countryside views. The deck is equipped with a kettle braai and chairs. Bamboo Cottage is ideal for singles or couples. We are continuously adding fresh & innovative decor ideas so that we are able to provide our guests with a fabulous experience while staying with us on our piece of paradise. Enjoy taking a stroll around this beautiful property under a full moon listening to the peaceful sounds of owls, nightjars and frogs. Kindly note that a television is notably absent from the list of amenities, helping you to escape everyday modern life and relax in total privacy and enjoy the beauty around you. Unique Outside Communal Kitchen The Cooking Shack is located right below Bamboo Cottage. It is a partially enclosed and fully undercover area which we created from recycled materials to be a quirky and rustic outside communal cooking/braai area with stunning views. It is equipped with a bar counter, 2-plate gas cooker, braai facilities as well as seating, an ideal place for those who love to cook or gather around a fire. The Cooking Shack provides guests with a peaceful 'off-the-grid' experience and derives lighting from the solar fairy lights, gas light and candles, creating a beautiful ambience. Please note that we do not place stoves in our units due to health and safety reasons. Bamboo Cottage is equipped with a pot, pan and cooking utensils. You are welcome to bring your own braaiwood/charcoal/firelighters. Our on-site shop stocks these items for convenience. Free Wifi (not in the Cooking Shack) Our guests enjoy the convenience of being able to self check-in and self check-out upon arrangement. These instructions are made available in the manual once your booking is complete. Beautiful Sardinia Bay Beach is a short 5kms drive from our property and Kragga Kamma Game Park a 10min drive from our property. The South entrance of Addo Elephant Park is 56kms from our property. We provide our guests with complimentary coffee, tea, sugar, milk and biscuits/rusks on arrival. Complimentary Salt & Pepper is provided in sachets. Unfortunately some guests have been removing our grinders and shakers therefore we had to cease providing those. You have access to all utilities in Bamboo Cottage and the gardens Plenty of free, secure parking close to Bamboo Cottage The Cooking Shack - a quirky communal outside kitchen below Bamboo Cottage We are always available to help with information, recommendations, answers to questions and any other assistance you may require.
