Inside are over 1860 square feet of cozy living space. We have a well equipped kitchen with tile counters, a gas stove and newer appliances, offering a breakfast sitting area and opening into a dining room with large picture windows looking into beautiful lake Tahoe. Turn your head to the family room for great views of national forest. This area also includes the large dining table, and a decorative fireplace. Off of the family room you will find a large deck with a gas grill and patio settings. The two master suites and two bathrooms are located far apart from the living room.
Our home can comfortably accommodate 10 people, but only 8 adults as per our rental permit from the city of South Lake Tahoe. We will not accept parties larger than 10 (including children). There are a king and twin size beds in one master suite with an available pack-and play for little ones under 2 year olds. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a bunk-style bed (full/twin combination). There is also a queen-sized sofa sleeper in the living room.
Please do not book with us if you are looking for a place to party. This is our home and we are hoping for guests that will treat it as their home.
We are looking for three night minimums over the weekends and two night minimum over the weekdays, with a longer stay required over holidays.
Main living space including living room, dining room,kitchen , utility room, 2 master bedrooms and a two car garage.

What we love most about our home is the location. Our home has a history in Lake Tahoe, and the unique boulder slabs on our property are what give Rocky Point it's memorable name! The back yard is national forest with hiking/biking trails leading to unlimited exploring, as well as beautiful lake views right in our backyard. We are located within walking distance to the casinos and Heavenly Village.
Five minutes from Heavenly Valley, twenty minutes from Sierra at Tahoe, thirty minutes from Kirkwood, five minutes from casinos and the lake. The beach is located 1.5 miles away and is easy walking distance from the home. Downtown shopping & casinos are easy walking distance of 1 mile from home.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Our home is geared towards families and groups of 10 or less looking to relax and enjoy all Lake Tahoe has to offer.
The property is alarmed, and will be activated prior to and immediately after your stay. It is set up by the owner remotely, and will be deactivated during the stay. You are responsible for locking the door behind you and ensuring the safety of our home during your stay.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SET AN ALARM DURING YOUR STAY OR WHILE LEAVING THE HOUSE. This is very important. It WILL trigger a police home check, and you will lose your deposit, as well as be responsible for any incurred fees, which are set by the city of South Lake Tahoe.
The maximum people allowed in our home at one time is 8 adults. Kids are welcome (small children above the 8 person accommodation are acceptable). Please refer to number of beds available. No exceptions. Sorry, this is a City of South Lake Tahoe rule, not ours. We are very strict about this rule and you will forfeit your deposit if you choose to break it.
No parties or events that involve others outside of your group. This is not a party house. If you throw a party you will be asked to immediately vacate the premises and will forfeit your deposit.
No smoking on the premises. An extra cleaning fee of $250 will be charged if smoking occurs in our home. Additionally you will be charged $25 for clean up of any cigarette butts found around the exterior of the property.
The stairs to the patio are slippery during the winter months. Please be very careful when using the stairs.
Check-In is at 3pm and Check-Out is 12pm. If guests are not checked out in time, a $50 charge may be added. Please check out on time. Thank you.
The maximum amount of vehicles allowed in the driveway is 2 . No exceptions as this is a City of South Lake Tahoe rule. Park in the driveway or garage only (2 cars also fit inside the garage). During the winter season vehicles parked on the street will be towed by the City of South Lake Tahoe.
Upon departure, place your dishes in the dish washer. Please hand wash any pots and pans. Beds can be left unmade. Dirty towels can be left on the bathroom floor.
Do not use bath linens to clean up messes/spills. There are rags for this purpose in the utility room on the shelf above the utility sink (next to the laundry area). Any missing or damaged linen will be deducted from your security deposit.
Please respect our neighbors. Quiet hours are 10pm to 8am.
Please kindly remove your shoes while in the house.
Please do not attempt to open locked cabinets labeled 'owner's closet' or otherwise. If any of the locks are broken, you will lose your security deposit and will be fined.
Do not remove any provided amenities or household items (including shovels, water hoses, kitchen utensils, etc.) from the property. These items are provided for your convenience and we appreciate you only using them when needed around the property.
While we love animals of all kinds, Absolutely No Pets are allowed in our home.
Please be mindful of taking all your belongings with you when you leave. We understand that it is very easy to leave things behind. $50 will be deducted from the deposit to cover the cost of returning any items to you. Thank you for your understanding.
