Askham, Eden District, Lake District, Cumbria, England
Stay in a beautifully restored Barn at the heart of our farm. Enjoy local produce, tranquility, adventure, it's really up to you. A stunning and timeless setting for you to explore in one of Cumbria's idyllic Lake District settings.

Voted in The Guardian as ‘one of the 10 ten best back-to-nature stays in England' 2016.

Until early 2014 the Barn was used to store logs. Back in history the barn was a stable and byre (a place to house cattle in the winter). Widewath Barn is Grade II Iisted and has been sympathetically restored to retain its integrity. Care has been taken to retain original features including open stone walls and wooden beams. Where possible, the Barn has been furnished with quality recycled items.

Widewath Barn is a small sole occupancy self catering unit sleeping 2 – 6 people. The bedroom has 2 sets of bun...

I'm not sure why this great place is listed as Widewath CHILDREN??? This is a farm that dates back to the early 17th century. The house had an attached stable which has been developed by owners George and Alice Robinson into a charming, self catering...More
