The cottage accommodation was excellent, well maintained and had everything we needed. Tea, coffee and milk are provided so you can get a drink on arrival, which is a really nice touch. The dog and ourselves were warmly welcomed and we highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the area.

Review ✓ minimum I picked this holiday rental because of its quite village location and it didn't disappoint. The bungalow was perfect for my Wife and I plus our 2 Labradors. The bungalow is very well appointed with all home comforts. It's kept and in very clean and in very good order also. The king size double bed is very comfortable. Our 2 Labradors loved the orchard and paddock adjoining the property to sniff about in and there is some lovely walks around the little village. The Bungalow is built in the grounds of The Wheel public house. Nick and Sue own and run both Pub and holiday bungalow. They are excellent hosts, hospitable and helpful. The pub does excellent food, hot or cold. Nick keeps his Batemans ales in excellent condition, XXXB being my favourite !! Will be returning to do more exploring of The Lincolnshire Wolds area.

Had a lovely stay for our wedding anniversary and to visit my sister. The owners were lovely and as the pub was closed for food, they made us a lovely take away meal to eat in the cottage. Nothing was to much trouble great paddock and orchard for the dogs to go in, but also some great walks in the village to. Very peaceful and quiet. Thanks for a lovely stay and hope to be back soon. I came for my birthday with my partner and two dogs and from the word go it's been a brilliant friendly place, Sue and Nick the owners were so lovely and not forgetting Paul who was great to chat to. On arrival there were some doughnuts and a birthday card left on the table for me which I thought was really special, sue remembered my dogs names on arrival from my booking which I thought was great..The wheel Inn pub which is part of the let served amazing homecooked food and a brilliant lager and blackcurrant which was my favourite, Piper and Bella enjoyed a packet of mini cheddars sat in the dog friendly bar given to them from Nick., there were different themed nights in the cosy pub and friendly locals to chat to, we didn't hear one bit of noise coming from the pub on our evenings in .There was a paddock and orchard which were a stones throw away with a lovely stream at the bottom for the dogs to play in which were part of the pub and rental, nothing was to much trouble, the cottage was lovely and modern and had everything equipped for your stay with fresh milk , tea and coffee for a cuppa on arrival. We had some lovely days out to the beach and local towns, I would highly recommend staying here we would certainly return, especially to see Elvis , Jack and Anna their brilliant furbabies

About the neighbourhood
The Lincolnshire Wolds can be divided into four distinct areas: the main area of chalk hills in the north, the north west scarp, an area of ridges and valleys in the south west, the claylands in the south east. The Red Hill nature reserve near the village of Goulceby is notable for the unusual red colour of its soil and underlying chalk. Wolds Top is the highest point in the whole of Lincolnshire and is marked by a trig point just north of the village of Normanby le Wold, at approximately 551 feet (168 metres) above sea level (TF121964). The Wolds provide views across the flat fens and salt marshes of Lindsey and Holland: it is possible, from various points on the Wolds, to see all of the larger structures in the north and east of the county: the Belmont mast, Boston Stump, ...
