We booked last minute and had a great week exploring the local area. The cottage is very comfortable and in a great location. The children enjoyed playing in the barn the little time we were at home.

There is a huge range of things to do with appeal to many different tastes. From walking, cycling, climbing, sailing and other activities to historic homes, gardens and churches to theme parks and farm parks to country pubs and great cafes to mooching round the local market towns and their independent shops. From the door of the cottage are some beautiful walks, a stream that is perfect for picnics and paddling and plenty of places on site to sit and drink in the views.

We are 3 miles from the Peak District National Park and driving times to some of our local attractions are:
