Tree Tops is a self-catering cottage set in two acres of secluded gardens overlooking the picturesque Cornish village of Port Navas on the Helford River. The cottage comprises two bedrooms, one with a double, a single and a blow up single, the other with two single-beds and an electrically-operated airbed. A well-appointed kitchen including a pantry and scullery, and a bathroom. The cosy sitting room has a wonderful view of the village and creek. All accommodation is on one level. The large garden is a private, peaceful escape from the world. Great for barbecues, games on the lawn, or just sitting around with the family and a picnic, admiring the wonderful view of the valley and Helford River. As it is elevated above the village lane, it is a safe playground for children and pets. As it is elevated above the village lane, it is a safe playground for children and pets. Port Navas Yacht Club, which has a bar and restaurant, is a five minute walk away. Guests can visit the many nearby attractions of South Cornwall, such as Falmouth, Helston, Lands End and the villages and coves on the Lizard Peninsula. Boats can be hired locally to explore the creeks, beaches and pubs on the Helford River. Owners of dinghies can keep them at Tree Tops and launch them from the nearby slipway, or rent a pontoon space from the Port Navas Yacht Club. There are so many places to visit on land and on water that guests will never run out of new excursions to enjoy each day of their stay. With its beautiful gardens set back from and above the village, stunning views and short walk to the Yacht Club, Tree Tops is the ideal venue for your holiday. Some comments from previous guests : 'The best place we have ever been to for a family holiday' Mike. Hemyock. Devon. June 2020 A few reviews: 'What a simply wonderful place. Very comfortable and very clean. Would love to come again in the summer to appreciate the view.' Sandra and Jon, Taunton. Feb 2020 'The best place for a family holiday I have ever been to.' Mike. Devon. June 2017 'A wonderful, magical little place by the river, we had a lovely few days at Treetops and even in the March winter/spring weather. 'We have enjoyed peace and tranquility in such beautiful surroundings and leave Tree Tops feeling recharged and rejuvenated! What a delightful cottage - so very comfy and cosy....loved every minute' Terry and Margaret, June 2016. 'Charming cottage in idyllic setting. Very well equipped and comfortable. Have enjoyed the rabbits in the garden, and a pheasant came calling too. Had an early morning call, usually at about 5.45, from a crow who thought it was a good idea to 'knock' on the bedroom window! This is my first time in Cornwall and there is lots to do and see from here and even the narrow lanes were not an issue after a day or so. Would definitely recommend Tree Tops for a relaxing break'. Sue, Vi, and Alan. May 2016. Tree Tops has a magic all of its own - once seen always remembered. We have shared it for a few days and loved every minute. If you know of a better holiday let, you are fortunate indeed'. Sue and Colin, September 2016 'Just to say a big thank you. We had a wonderful stay at Tree Tops. A stunning location, lovely cottage and the weather was very kind to us. We had a lovely relaxing break - just the job!' HC, West Midlands, April 2015. 'What a gem of a place. About the neighbourhood
Port Navas is a small, quiet village located beside a creek which is part of the Helford River. These days it has few amenities of its own, but a full range of services is less than two miles away at Constantine. The Port Navas Yacht Club, which includes a bar and restaurant, is five minutes walk from the cottage. The nearest beach is at Helford Passage, about 10 minutes drive away. There is a pub here which serves food, and a ferry service to Helford Village on the other side of the river. Larger sandy beaches can be found at Maenporth and Swanpool towards Falmouth. Beaches more suited to surfing are on the North coast, such as Portreath. The nearest golf course is at Budock Vean Golf & Country Club Hotel, which is about 10 minutes drive away. Other fairly close courses are at Falmouth,...
