Modern conversion of a grade 2 listed barn, set in the peaceful Cornish Countryside, but just 3 miles outside of Newquay with its vibrant nightlife, restaurants and stunning sandy surfing beaches. The interior is light, modern and airey, whilst the exterior retains the quaint characteristics of a Cornish Barn.
2 double bedrooms, 1 with a 'ziplink' bed which can be either a kingsize double or split into 2 singles. Both with tv/dvd player.
2 bathrooms, 1 with shower, 1 with jacuzzi bath with shower over.
Modern fitted kitchen with built in oven, hob, microwave and coffee machine. Dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer.
Luxury lounge with 36' flatscreen tv, dvd player and log burner.

I live nearby and hope to welcome each guest at some point, you will be able to check in without me being there, so arriving late at night is no problem. If you need help during your stay you can always contact me by phone or text, but if you don't want to see me you won't.

Not too far from Newquay, lovely quiet location and beautiful accommodation - modern, clean and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Many thanks Jane and we hope to return again next year.

Accommodation fitted our needs perfectly as came to Cornwall for a family wedding and were bringing Mum who is 90. House clean and well kitted out. We would gladly recommend it and consider booking again. Directions from Jane were excellent as would never have found...More

About the neighbourhood
The surrounds of Trescowthick Stables are peaceful and beautiful, stroll along the Cornish lanes to the village of St Newlyn East, or hop in your car to see the nearby villages of Crantock and Cubert.
Just 3 miles away is the tourist hotspot of Newquay, with its bars and restaurants, bustling nightlife and home of extreme sports. Take a surfing lesson, go coasteering or deep sea fishing, there's plenty to keep the sportsman in you happy. Then relax on the beach, or return to your holiday home for BBQ.
Getting around
Trescowthick stables are just 3.5 miles from Newquay but set in a very rural location.
There is no public transport to the property.
If need to use taxis I can recommend a local firm that knows the property's location and have a variety of vehicle sizes.

How to get there
If arriving by air, or train a hire car is advisable, as there is no public transport to the barns. Taxis are available and cost approx £8 to Newquay

Directions by car from the A30, the main trunk road into Cornwall.
The post code is TR8 5NS, but if you are using a sat nav please follow the instructions below as far as Carland cross, when the sat nav should start to direct you via the route I have described, otherwise some sat navs take you by the most direct route which is down extremely narrow lanes which may scratch your car.
• Do Not take the route signposted 'Newquay' from the A30
• Continue on the A30 to Carland Cross roundabout, (this roundabout has large windmills next to it and the A30 becomes single carriage way from this point)
• Continue on the A30 to the next junction...
