The view from the balcony was just stunning! The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable. Berlinda was very prompt in all communications. The only issue we had was parking. The property is on a very steep hill, and the road was very busy at certain times of the day. Despite assurances, parking was frequently not available on the hill. We had one occasion when we were fortunate enough to get the last space in the next street - had we not been able to get that space, I think we would have ended up at the long stay car park near the station. Parking aside, a lovely cottage and very close to all amenities in Penzance. Easy access to some stunning beaches and fabulous restaurants!

We just returned from an amazing week at Bayview Cottage!! The weather was perfect and no rain!! Which is unheard of in Cornwall. Amazing view from balcony, sitting room and even the kitchen!! Very clean and well equipped! We were greeted with fresh flowers, scones, jam, cream, tea, coffee, and fresh milk. Nice touch!! The cottage is located a quick 5 min walk from train and busses. There is no parking right at the cottage but we had no problem parking on street. There is space by garage to pull up and unload/load. We loved having access to the garage/utility room to hang wetsuits and beach gear. Thank you for sharing your fantastic cottage!

This cottage is in a great location, close to all amenities & local transport. As we entered the property we got a sense of comfort straight away & when we climbed the stairs in to the lounge/kitchen the views over looking the bay & Micheals mount in the foreground are stunning, then you have the balcony with comfortable furniture to relax in the sun which covers the balcony all day. The cottage has all you need for a relaxing stay, 1 ensuite bedroom, another double & a double bunk, with access to a small courtyard. Although there is no actual parking at the cottage .there was always space to park on the road close to the property, so never a issue. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here & will definitely return in the future.

Lovely house. Very quiet and lovely view. No storage in bedrooms. Bedrooms very small. Shower scolded if on at same time be careful! All mod cons and spacious living area. Need doorbell. And very intermitant WiFi. Useless downstairs. Lovely scones and flowers thank you.

Thank you for your review. Pleased you enjoyed your stay. There is a wardrobe in each bedroom with lots of coat hangers and beside cabinet. Which we would hope would be sufficient for a weeks stay. Regarding the shower we have replaced this but both bathroom are being upgraded at the end of the season. We don't think it needs a door bell, but appreciate all your feedback Regards Berlinda & Chris

What a delightful cottage! We (two small families) stayed at Bayview Cottage in September. And wow, what a view! Aside from the incredible sea view, the cottage was spotlessly clean and really well equipped. It's just a 10 x minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the arty centre of Penzance. We would definitely stay again. :)

We travelled from hull for our first Cornwall Holiday and first uk holiday for some time. The property was lovely and had everything you needed. The outside seating area had views to die for! The locals were lovely and gave us advice not to drive to st ives so after my daughter and her friend realised they could hire wetsuits and body board t ugh at was it for the week. We took the train to St ives really easy and quick. We will def be back. Met owner as we left who was lovely. Def recommend

The view from the property is magnificent. It was so lovely sitting on the sofa or terrace either in the morning or evening and taking in the view. On the whole the property was excellent. There were one or two really minor things which I am sure in non Covid times would have been sorted. The property was very clean with all the appliances and extras you might wish for in a holiday home. The beds were extremely comfortable in fact in the main room it was one of the best beds I have ever slept on. The location of the property is excellent. Very close to the rail station but with no noise disturbance. The town is on your door step. On a nice day it is a lovely walk to Marazion for a morning coffee and wander and surprisingly it seems a shorter journey back to Penzance ! You can’t park at the property but on the road it is on. Depending on how busy the road is you may or may not be able to park near the property. Typically we couldn’t and had to park at the top of the hill which wasn’t a problem for us but might be for those with restricted mobility. The fresh milk and scones were very welcome after our long journey down. Would highly recommend this property.

Thank you for your review, we are pleased you enjoyed your holiday. Also found the beds comfortable. Parking might have been difficult due to more people at home due to covid & furlough.

A lovely comfortable stay with a lovely view. Ample room for us as a family of four and a medium sized dog. Small terrance upstairs and small gravel courtyard downstairs with a bbq. Needed to take dog for a walk to do his business though. Inside was super clean with thoughtful touches and comfy beds. Kitchen was well kitted out with condiments and basic cleaning items in the cupboards, plus washing machine and dryer in the garage. A range of books, games, DVDs and PS3. Only downside was parking was a bit tricky at times having to park i the next road a couple of times, WIFI cut out quite often so had to reset frequently. We had a lovely week and could have happily stayed for a second week.
