The Lodge at Beaver Cottages, (AA 4* rated) is part of an old Cornish lodging house approx half a mile south of the historic village of Tintagel and close to the lovely sandy beach of Trebarwith Strand. The cottage lies approx 1/4 mile from the South West Coast Path via an old Cornish stile in the drive, giving great walking opportunities, Port Isaac (of Dr Martin fame), Boscastle, Bude and Bodmin Moor are only a short drive away. The cottage has a fully fitted kitchen, a dining room with the original slate floor, a large lounge with 2 sofas (one a sofabed) and an armchair, a family bathroom, a double bedroom with ensuite and shower, and a twin/superking room with ensuite. The cottage has a private enclosed dog friendly garden for guest use. We stayed for my birthday weekend in January and had a great time. The fields nearby make perfect dog walks (for people who can get over Cornish stiles) and lead to the coastal path. You can easily get to Tintagel with various routes to choose...More

We truly couldn't have wished for anymore. We stayed at The Lodge; 1 Pem Corgi and her 3 Adult Staff. Nicola and Steve couldn't do enough for us. Such a warm and friendly welcome on an early arrival. The cottage was spotless throughout, really well...More
