We have been going back to Dartmouth for over 32 years now and we have stayed in the town, the edge of town and outside Dartmouth, But 5 Pottery cottages we would say was in our top 3 places we have stayed. Lovely spot, just 10 min walk in to Dartmouth, where you can enjoy some cracking food. The house was more than large enough and had everything you needed, showers were lovely and homely. We would stay again as I feel we will be going back to Dartmouth as we as a family, that's my dad whos in his 90s down to my grandsons who are 2.5 & 5.5 years old just love the place.

We had a fabulous week in 5 Pottery Cottages. Very well equipped house, very clean and comfortable. It is in Warfleet Creek, which is so picturesque and peaceful. The house is 10 minutes walk to Dartmouth and right on the amazing South Coast Path, so easy to strike out for beautiful long walks. Mandy, the owner, is lovely too.

We were lucky enough to stay at 5 Pottery Cottage ,it situated in a fantastic location not 10 mins walk to the castle and about 15 mins walk to Dartmouth ,added bonus you have a parking space right outside your door. Its a great place for a family Holiday plus you can also take your dog,The cottage has everything you would need (even the mother in law could not find fault and thats very rare). A big thank you to the owner Mandy .recommend all the pubs and restaurants even finding out which ones that were open also sorted out horse riding for our daughter and her friend . If you like walking (can get very steep in places) great place to stay and explore, there are some lovely little coves .to explore. All in all we all had a great time.

The cottage is attractive, spacious and very well-equipped, in a wonderful location mid-way between Dartmouth and its castle. Warfleet Creek is a couple of minutes' walk away and there are lovely walks in either direction. The ferry from the castle into town is fun to catch and reasonably priced. Mandy is a considerate host and made sure we had all we needed. A good time was had by all of us!

House is situated by a small creek which is very picturesque, yet it is only a 10 minute walk into Dartmouth with all its amenities. Property has its own parking which is a boon as the town can get very busy. House is well appointed and has everything you need to make it a home from home. We have used it for holidays for both family and friends. It works well for both.

This is a beautiful 4 bedroom house, in a private off-road terrace of houses. They have their own car parking space (great - as it gets really busy in Summer). The house is really nicely decorated. It feels like a real family home. Somewhere where you can just relax and unwind and a great base for seeing all that Dartmouth has to offer. The kitchen has everything you need to make a decent meal - there's even a good selection of herbs and spices in the cupboards! A cute little terrace out back has a BBQ. Bedrooms are super comfortable. Great beds and lovely linen. There's wifi, and TV - tho we didn't have much time for watching as there's so much to do on your doorstep! The house is a short walk away from Dartmouth Castle, and there's a massive National Trust forest directly behind the House. A lovely place to base yourself. Highly recommended.

An excellently located and well furnished property with parking outside the house. A short walk into the centre of Dartmouth or to the castle and coast path. Additionally ideally situated for exploring the beautiful South Devon coast. Mandy is an excellent owner and nothing is too much for her, the property is clean and the welcoming bottle of wine was a nice touch and enjoyed sat on the estuary 2 mins walk away watching the world go by. Fully recommended for a family stay any time of the year.

5 Pottery Cottages is the most perfect, relaxing tonic - a very well-equipped and extremely comfortable residence in a stunningly beautiful location with everything in walking distance. ==Literally just seconds walk to Warfleet Creek, and less than 15/20 minutes in each direction either up-river to Dartmouth town, or down-river to Dartmouth Castle and coastal cliff walks. ==Dartmouth is a beautifully quaint town with a great selections of (independent & chain) shops, cafes, restaurants & galleries. ==And the ferry services to Kingswear, from the town to Dartmouth Castle, and to Agatha Christie's Greenway. ==Take a short (but steep-ish) walk to one of the local coves near the Castle and the sea water is also graded as one of the cleanest in the UK. I would highly recommend this rental!

Spacious enough to accommodate 6 girlfriends in separate rooms - ideal for families too. Fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. Close to Warbeck Creek and a 15 minute walk from Dartmouth town centre where there are a variety of decent restaurants. Close to some of the most beautiful coastline in Devon with some fabulous walks and a short drive from beaches.

About the neighbourhood
Offering fabulous views of the river, narrow lanes, stairways and corridors - Dartmouth is a must. The town has a reputation for good food - with many fine restaurants. Then there's Foss Street with eclectic shops and art galleries. The market square with the Friday fish market is fun too . Ancient buildings abound. The Cherub Inn (1380) and The Butterwalk (1628) which includes the Dartmouth Museum, are two of the oldest . The Royal Regatta, during August, with sailing and rowing competitions plus spectacular airbourne displays, often including the Red Arrows, is a world famous event. Hop on the picnic boat for lunch on the river. Jump on the ferry over to Kingswear to catch a steam train or simply enjoy the stunning river views from your cottage. Lounge on the privately owned beach a...
