Willow Cottage and its surroundings would give you a taste of country living with our 10 acres of landscaped gardens, own produce grown plus free range eggs, piglets and wildlife pond. There are local amenities in Totnes ( 2 miles) it is a lovely historic town with weekly markets, charming shops and delicious cream teas. Close enough to all major towns, 3 miles to Torquay & beaches, 2 miles Paignton & beaches, Exeter and Plymouth.

Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings
Located very conveniently a few miles from Torbay and a couple of miles from Totnes yet felt very rural. Located on a farm with a few other cottages there too. The owner lives next door and was helpful and friendly. Suitable for a family of 4-5. Beautiful views of farmland and cows and sheep from the cottage.

A perfect holiday!
Willow cottage is a perfect place to have a great holiday! The location is ideal. You can enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside being only a few miles away from Totnes or Paignton and its beach. Richard was very welcoming and friendly and the cottage has everything you need. We'll definitely come back :) !

Fab place to stay, lovely quiet farm and clean and well equipped cottage
Had a really great stay here. It's an excellent location for touring South Hams and walking on Dartmoor. Really comfy (huge) bed and nice white linen, slept like logs. Well equipped kitchen and just generally a really nice feel about the place. Very relaxing place to stay. Lots of little touches to make guests feel welcome and at home. Totnes is just up the road for anything you need and there are absolutely loads of places in the surrounding area to visit and for eating out. Richard the owner was a really lovely likeable chap, we took to him instantly. Loved our stay. We'll be back!

Beautiful
We stayed in this fantastic farm for a week, it was a peaceful and a ideal location for both adults and kids. This little paradise is in the middle of everywhere you can go in 20 minutes. Dartmore, salcombe,totnes are so close. We will deffinantly recommend this place to everyone. We had a lovely Turkish BBQ with the owner Mr Richard, and surprisingly Richard made some lovely steak for us next day, I think that was very kind. Thanks Richard. We will most definitely return soon

Fantastic
A peaceful retreat - beautiful cottage, very clean and all the home comforts you need. The location is perfect, only a short distance from totnes, paignton and torquay. Richard was really helpful and friendly, has a great sense of humour. Would definitely re visit, if you get the chance to visit willow cottage, do it, you wont be disappointed.

Great location and very relaxing
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was well equipped and very clean. Richard was so welcoming and helpful throughout, giving us tips of places to visit and routes to take. The views were stunning, it was so lovely to sit with a morning cuppa and watch all the birds and wildlife. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to return in the not too distant future.

Home from home in a beautiful setting
Willow Cottage is a spacious, very clean, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom cottage between Totnes and Paignton. Rich Cole is very helpful and easy to talk to. The cottage has open plan large sitting/kitchen/diner. The bedrooms are large with 1 double room and 1 with bunk beds and a full single. The bathroom has toilet, basin and shower. Hot water in abundance. The kitchen is well stocked with more tools than we needed for the week. Towels, tea towels & washing up liquid are provided. The cottage is accessible down a private access/lane. Traffic from the main road can be heard, but only if you really want to hear it! A car is essential. A perfect place to return to after exploring beautiful Devon.

Just what we wanted
This is an absolutely delightful cottage. The location is fantastic, only a few miles away from Paignton, not far from Dartmouth and close to Totnes itself (which is a lovely place to visit) and has breathtaking views over the countryside. We took our little boy, who is 16 months and he just loved it.... So much room for him to run around and play. The interior is well furnished with well thought out 'zoned' areas. Rich, the owner, was really helpful in giving us good local information and made sure we had the necessities to make a cuppa on arrival! I would definitely stay here again and truth be told, we didn't want to leave!!!

Hidden gem
Booked this cottage for one night ,20th June ,stayed with friends . Very good communications from the owner, Wow,didn't expect this,beautiful detached cottage right in the middle of the country , Great parking too. Owner lives next door but we were left alone. Cottage itself was very well appointed ,and spotlessly clean. Amazing views over the country side. Quite a hidden gem. Would highly recommend this cottage .

Perfect place for a relaxing family vacation
More than one and a half year since we stayed here but we do remember the place very well. The owner Rich was a very pleasant man who helped us with several things such as "where to go", eggs from the farm as well as good chatting in between... The cottage was clean, well situated and had everything needed for a nice summer week. If you're looking for a nice situated place at the countryside try this one - it's really nice. Thank you from us - a Swedish family with two boys aged 12 at that time.
