Linen and towels are always washed at a minimum of 60 degrees. Beautifully presented, the 22' x 14' lounge is a great space for relaxing in the evenings. The centrepiece of the room is a stone fireplace and the windows guide your eyes to the rear southerly facing garden and panoramic sea views. The pristine, white finish kitchen includes integrated appliances: fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a great space for entertaining. The master suite is light and airy, benefiting from the sea views and an en-suite shower room, there is a second double room and a twin bedroom which has patio doors leading through to the garden area. All bedrooms have a spacious and light feel, please note sheer curtains are provided in the master bedroom and black out blinds available in the other two bedrooms. There is also a main bathroom, with a luxurious tub and separate rainfall shower plus a separate WC room. Complimentary x1 cot and x1 highchair stored at the property, additional available at a surcharge. The real attraction for this property is the breathtaking sea views to the rear of the garden; a prime location for having a cup of tea in the mornings or glass of wine in the evenings. Although the fencing at the rear of the garden is secure, we would recommend supervising young children and pets whilst in the garden area. The owners can not accept any liability in the event of an accident should the fencing be climbed. Complimentary WIFI (subject to availability from the internet service provider). Off road parking for two cars and unrestricted on road parking. Pure cotton sheets and plump, fluffy towels are included. This deluxe family holiday home will allow you to relax and enjoy your holiday and make you want to return year after year! Having to have a "staycation" this year rather than going abroad we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. This accommodation is just AMAZING. From the moment you walk into the beautiful wood paneled hall you feel at home. The space in every room is fantastic. Everywhere is so light and bright. Everything you could need in the extremely well equipped kitchen, the most comfortable settees in the wonderfully large lounge, the comfiest of beds in all the bedrooms and fantastic bathrooms. The views from the decking over the beautiful Alum Chine Beach are fantastic. The garden furniture provided is the best we've every had at a holiday rental. Location is brilliant. You can walk along the flat prom to Bournemouth in about 20 mins and to Sandbanks in about 35 mins. Just fantastic. If you want an amazing holiday home in a great part of the world then look no further than here!

One or two disappointments. Only 1 hand towel between 2 guests, not good in time of Covid. Fortunately had time to warn rest of group to bring hand towels. Lovely flat, wonderful views from garden, quick path down to beach. Not centre of town so beach not overly busy during week. We had a very good holiday.

The description of this property on the various websites do not do it justice. When you arrive outside the property, it is an unimposing house at the end of a very quiet cul-de-sac, but when you open the front door and step inside, it’s like stepping into the Dr Who Police box, it’s massive !! Once inside you are in a huge hall with the various bedrooms, bathrooms, living room and kitchen coming off it. At the back of the middle bedroom (with twin beds), is the door to access the garden. When you walk out this door across the decking, across the beautiful grassed well kept garden and then step up to the decking at the back of the garden, be prepared to have your breath taken away. The view from the decking whilst relaxing on the garden furniture, with the obligatory G&T will be remembered by our family (55,53,28,25,23) as one of the best we have ever seen. Whilst we we staying, it was the annual Poole Regatta and we were entertained with a multitude of Yachts and Sailing Boats vying for top spot. To get to the beach is a short walk, either down a number of steps (we counted 90) via a path opposite the front door of the property, or via a slightly longer walk (about 5 minutes) turning right out of the front door and following the road round. Just one point to be aware of : neither the bedding or any towels were changed whilst we stayed, it seems that it is your responsibility to wash them (there is a washing machine, but no tumble drier or washing line ?) We all would recommend this property, although I personally do not think it is suitable for children, as the retaining fence at the back of the garden is not a solid ‘screen’ but a balustrade fence with wires running horizontally.

This was the second year staying at this lovely house. Nicely furnished and everything catered for. Good view of the beach and the bay from the decking at the end of a long garden. Access to beach and Bournemouth centre within easy walking distance.

What a great find! This truly is a stunning property. In a central location but with the benefit of being on a quiet road just a few minutes walk from the lovely Sandy beaches of Alum Chine. There is plenty to entertain the whole family and many adventures to be had along the Jurassic coastline. We certainly will be returning and would like to say a huge thank you to the Smart Holiday Rentals team and owners for such a memorable holiday.

We had a lovely stay at this appartment, we had family come to visit so they stayed there, every room was very spacious, light and bright, we had a lovely family celebration in the garden with amazing weather and views. There was every thing you could want at the apartment, books, dvd's family games, and every utensil, pots, pans glasses dishes you could need in the kitchen, there was also three toilets too, lovely clean towels and bedding,lovely little toiletries, comfy beds and was decorated with a mix of traditional and modern and plenty chairs and garden furntire also. Would highly recommend a stay here and can't wait to go back as the beach is literally 2mins down hill. There was only one draw back that could be an issue for some people, but for us was fine, the kitchen window overlooked upstairs garden, which is ok as you are not in the kitchen that often in the day. Smart Rentals were fantastic, everything was straight forward and very organised, to make everything as easy and personal to you, and they even called and messaged us a couple of times to check we were all good and enjoying our stay. 🤗 Thank you.

We arranged to stay for a week at the end of August. We stayed with four other friends. On arrival we were taken aback by the beautiful stained glass windows and panels. They were lovely features in such a modern decorated home. Each room was clean and well presented. The decor is very neutral making it seem very big and spacious. There were lovely touches such as big beanbags and cosy blankets for sitting outside. There were candles provided for outside even though more permanent lights would have been better as the candles just kept going out. Even though we didn't need it, there was a high chair and travel cot supplied. There were also board games, toys and buckets and spades. There are 2 double rooms and a room with two single beds. All beds were comfortable apart from we found the quilt covers made us very hot! All rooms have places to hang clothes and the room with two singles had a door onto the patio. You may need to remove the key if you have young children staying in there as at the end of the garden is a fantastic view with a very steep drop. The garden is a super size with a BBQ and loungers. There is a stunning view of the beach, we sat outside every morning to have our morning cuppa. The master room has an ensuite, there is also a single toilet and a very large bathroom. The large bathroom really need to have a lock on it, we weren't staying with family and it felt risky using it. There is a lack of toilet roll holders and because the roll is always behind, the toilet seat twists as it's become loose. I know someone has put about the lack of blinds in the master. The owners say they like it however you could install them and they can be kept up when the owners stay. The kitchen is very clean, we were provided with dishwasher tablets and a complimentary pack of sponge, coffee etc. The kitchen has everything you need however I think a good sort out of utensils would be good. We ended up using BBQ tongs for the bacon and sausages for our breakfast. The TV could do with being replaced, it's a little old and the screen has an unusual mark across it that can be seen when watching during the day. There is good access to the beach with a few minutes walk. Overall the flat is gorgeous and we would definitely come again especially with our future children.

This is a nice property and could very easily be a very good holiday let. There are two main problems with the flat though - the first is that there aren't any curtains in the bedrooms or lounge, so if you turn up with your young children like we did there's going to be big problem getting them to sleep and then again when they wake up with the sun at 05.00am. We had to buy face masks, which we never normally wear, and our young children instantly threw off. The letting company seemed fairly uninterested in this as a problem and suggested that we should have noticed on the pictures that there aren't curtains in the flat, which I found insulting and annoying. The other issue is that it was a bit grubby, in particular the lounge cushions and sofa, which were pretty manky. The remote control for the tv had evidently never, ever, ever been cleaned and had a fairly thick coating of other peoples finger dirt on it. This points could easily be rectified and then it'd be a great holiday let.

We are pleased you have chosen our booking services on several occasions for stays in Bournemouth but sorry to hear this particular property did not meet your expectations. As you are aware each property belongs to a different owner and therefore it is at their discretion to furnish their holiday home to their tastes (this particular owner preferred sheer curtains over blackout blinds and did not foresee this as a problem). As an agent we forward our customer recommendations to the owners for their consideration and as a result custom made blinds have been fitted to the double and twin bedroom. Please note the master bedroom still has sheer curtains only (this is the owners personal preference as they regularly use this property as their holiday home). All other points mentioned were addressed upon your departure as requested during your courtesy call. Please accept our sincere apologies on behalf of the owners that the property did not meet your expectations. We look forward to welcoming you back to Bournemouth this Summer whether you choose to stay at this property or an alternative.
