Only five minutes from a Blue Flag beach in beautiful Swanage, this Grade II listed cottage is full of character with a farmhouse kitchen complete with Aga, sitting room with a woodburning stove, an outside sundeck and BBQ.

On three floors, the cottage sleeps up to 7 people in 3 bedrooms (one double with shower room, one twin room and one room with a children's single bed and full size bunkbeds) and family bathroom and separate WC. Downstairs, the sitting room leads onto the kitchen, utility room and then onto the sundeck and down to the private garden.

Ideal for families and people of all ages keen to explore the Jurassic coastline but please note that the stairs to the double room at the top of the cottage are steep and may be difficult for those with mobility problems.

Prices quoted are for the rental of the cottage (max 7 people). Shorter breaks may be available. Contact Ellie for a price. Changeover day may be flexible off peak.

A deposit of 25% of rental required. We also require a breakages deposit of £100 which will be returned within 2 weeks of stay. Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of rental deposit.

About the neighbourhood
Swanage has many festivals and events throughout the year including Swanage Blues festival; Swanage walking festival; Swanage jazz festival and Swanage Regatta and Carnival week. It also hosts a variety of sporting events including sea rowing, triathalons and a challenging new marathon course across the Purbeck Hills which may tempt the runners amongst you.
Getting around
Swanage is freely accessible on foot and for those who want to explore further the Purbeck Breezer open top bus has a regular service to Corfe, Wareham, Studland, Sandbanks and Bournemouth.

You can also go back in time and catch the steam train to Corfe Castle (and back!) or even take the Waverley Steamer paddle boat towards Bournemouth.
Car not needed
How to get there
2.5 hours from London, M3, M27, A31 then A338 and over the Studland chain ferry is the quickest route. Alternatively buses run direct from Bournemouth or Wareham train stations.

The cottage does not have dedicated parking but there is free parking nearby, including a small, free car park next to the mill pond. It is possible to pull up directly in front of the cottage whilst you unload.
