Comfortable stay, friendly host
We really enjoyed our stay in this cosy comfortable annexe. Very clean and well equipped, had everything we needed. Seaford is within walking distance, we had some lovely meals out there. The apartment is on the excellent bus route between Brighton and Eastbourne so very easy to leave the car behind. We enjoyed visiting Alfriston and walking part of the South Downs Way. Kerrie is a great host, nothing too much trouble.

Cosy warm and comfortable apartment.
The accommodation is a self contained apartment, joining the main house. I suspect it's original purpose was a "granny flat" although I don't know whether this was in fact the case. The property has direct access from the front garden, and contains a small living/dining room, with an adjoining kitchenette. The bedroom leads off from the kitchenette, and contains an en-suite shower. The accommodation is fitted out well, with a TV, microwave, hob, fridge and washing machine. The property looked new, and was certainly spotless. I was glad to see a breakfast pack was included, which meant I did not have to purchase any food. I was also pleased that the TV had a good range of Sky channels, which was an added bonus. I feel I should mention the property is compact, (or small if you prefer!). This was no problem for me as I was on my own, but I suspect if there were two of you, it would get rather crowded, particularly if you were spending some time together. Free wi-fi is provided which was reliable and reasonably fast. The apartment is about 2 miles from the centre of Seaford, and is situated in a mainly residential area, which did not seem to have many local facilities. Therefore it was necessary to travel to Seaford for shops, restaurants or pubs. The property is on a bus route however, with regular services to Seaford, Brighton and Eastbourne. All in all, a very enjoyable stay. Kerry was friendly and helpful, and I would certainly enjoy repeating the experience and would certainly recommend the property.

Lovely apartment but misrepresented location
A beautul apartment equipped with everything you could possibly need, including a welcome package of groceries. The owners are super helpful and nice. Nothing was too much trouble, they went out of their way to make our vacation special. Only one problem - for some reason Trip Advisor have this apartment listed twice, in two separate locations about a mile and a half apart. After we booked we realized the apartment was not located where we wanted to be. The map we saw on TA was a long way from where the apartment actually is. We booked thinking we could walk to the seafront and local shops but this was not the case. We had to drive everywhere which we did not want as this is what we have to do at home. We just wanted a quiet walking week for a change. This in no way detracts from the nice apartment or owners as it was Trip Advisor's error .

ideal for exploring the area but too small for more than one week
ideal location to explore the area. Accommodation very cozy but too small for two weeks. Terrace unusable roadside unusable because too much traffic. Friendly and helpful owners with welcome gift. Bed too narrow. Ideal apartment for a short stay.

Excellent little gem of a find
My sister and I decided on a whim on a Friday, and found this little gem of a cottage. Kerrie was quick to respond, and we booked in for the next day. The cottage is a great base on the south coast for the south downs, Brighton, Eastbourne, Bexhill etc. The accommodation itself is finished to a very high standard, with wifi and sky tv.

Lovely cottage! Great place to stay!
We really enjoyed that beautiful cottage! It was perfect located to a variety of castles, parks and places of interest! We couldn't believe, how close the cottage is to the seven sisters! Great! We already recommended it to friends. Very clean and cosy! And kerrie and luke were very friendly and helpful! By the way, the mattress is soooo comfortable! We slept so well!

Ideal accommodation with access to beautiful loactions.
Accommodation was spot on and is in very easy reach of Seaford Head and Seven Sisters on foot or by car. Also within easy driving distance of several National Trust properties we took the opportunity to visit. Particularly enjoyed our visit Alfriston and the Clergy House.
