Cottage
The grade II listed cottage dates from around the early 17th century and many of the original features remain intact today. It has a large and welcoming open fire in the living room and exposed beams throughout the ground floor. There is a fully fitted kitchen with dining area for four, a shower room and toilet, with a further washroom and toilet on the second floor. The cottage has central heating throughout and a constant supply of piping hot water. Doors from both the kitchen and lounge lead to a pretty rear garden with seated patio area. Cozy Cottage Near Public Transportation
Cozy cottage close to bus, railway, and co-op. Nice sized rooms and spacious shower/bathroom. Enjoyed making fires in fireplace to warm up in the evenings. Cottage located on busy High Street, so a bit noisy with cars and pedestrians passing by. Would have liked a few essential cooking items made available, such as pepper and cooking oil since there is a full kitchen. Also would have been helpful to have some firelighters made available. All in all a nice place to stay.

Excellent Cottage
Really lovely cottage, very cosy and charming. Location is fantastic, right along the high street with all the amenities on the doorstep. The kitchen and bathrooms are really great and the cottage has two good sized bedrooms. The owner was very helpful, communicating everything we needed to know. Will definitely come back here in the not to distant future.

Simply the best!
Myself and my partner stayed at the cottage for a couple of days before the next national lockdown. The location of the Cottage is right in the centre of Moreton In Marsh which makes it ideal to walk to the local restaurants and shops. We particularly enjoyed a meal at the hotel situated opposite the cottage, it was delicious! The Cottage itself was beautiful and homely, very clean and the log fire was the cherry on top! The owners provided a variety of dvds, books and games along with recommended local walks which we really enjoyed using. The walks in particular were fantastic, allowing us to explore the local countryside without getting lost! Our only negative comment is that we couldn’t stay longer!!! We loved our stay and will definitely be back again!

Beautiful character cottage
Perfectly situated cottage for exploring the Cotswolds. Well supplied with all you need to make your stay easy. Visitors should try the quirky Straw Barn Cafe at Whichwood Pottery during their stay, very popular with locals. This was our second visit so that says it all

Nice little cottage, great location
The location of this cottage is great! Less than 10mins walk from Moreton in Marsh station, and no more than 5mins walk to restaurants, pubs, shops, salons etc. It's spacious, well maintained and homely. We would definitely book this property again.

Lovely cottage
We loved our stay in this cottage, it is perfectly situated for visiting the beautiful Cotswolds. My friend doesn't drive so we were able to walk to pubs & restaurants & have nice food without having to worry about driving. The cottage itself is very well equipped with everything you need. I would recommend to anyone & we hope to maybe revisit next year

Delightful period cottage in heart or Moreton in Marsh
This was our second visit to "The Cottage". It is full of period charm but has been fully upgraded for all modern comforts. We found it very clean and comfortable and cosy. The courtyard garden is ideal for hot sunny days. It is right on the edge of the town so convenient for pubs and restaurants and shops. If you cannot park right outside the cottage there is always a space near by.

About the neighbourhood
Moreton-in-Marsh is one of the principal market towns in the northern Cotswolds. In the thirteenth century it developed as a market town and was granted its market charter in 1227. There is still a bustling market every Tuesday with up to 200 stalls attracting visitors from far and wide. Moreton has been a traveller's town for at least 1700 years so there are plenty of pubs, tea shops, restaurants and hotels to provide refreshments!! Many of the old buildings along the High Street date from the 17th and 18th centuries. King Charles l is said to have stayed at The White Hart Hotel in 1644. Moreton-in-Marsh was founded on the Roman Fosse Way, later the traditional London to Worcester coaching route via Broadway. When you have finished exploring the town you may want to look at more of this beautiful part of the English countryside.
