Next door to the owner, the property is situated on the edge of National Trust common land near Stroud, boasts a quiet location and yet has a pub and shop all within walking distance. You can leave the car behind as you step out from the front door and go on one of several walks along the Cotswolds Way, into the woods or onto Selsley Common. A real home from home. Lovely warm cosy cottage with stunning views. A great base for exploring the Cotswolds with a real fire and a secure garden for our dog. Highly recommended and well kitted out with everything you need.

The area boasts many festivals and events to suit all ages and interests. Cheltenham is only half an hour away and boasts several festivals alone, including the famous horse racing Festival in March, as well as a music festival in July and the Times Literature festival in October. The Badminton Horse Trials in May are an easy drive away or perhaps a country show is more of interest? Reflecting the rural nature of the area, there is a country/agricultural show taking place somewhere during each of the summer months. Nearby Gloucester features the Tall Ship festival and the Kingsholm stadium will be hosting 4 matches in the Rugby World Cup tournament in September and October 2015.
