Disappointing
Disappointing. Stayed in many SC properties in UK and abroad. While the kitchen was well equipped, bed linen and towels clean a number of matters need attending to. Toilet door difficult to close, lots of dust on back of this door and the bathroom door. Cobwebs around log basket. Dog hair on sofas and cushions. Paintwork touch up required and mould in shower cubicle to clean off. Patio full of weeds, broken tiles and missing grout. Nice to sit here and look at the garden but why not enclose the bins? Information sparse eg which bin for collection on each week. WiFi code, the paper TV guide did not match the TV and hub details. First property stayed at without an info folder. Surely if you rent out, an owner would want to think they would be happy to stay there....

The epitome of a beautiful Cotswold cottage, scenic, cosy and short walk into the village of Winchcombe
The cottage was clean and the kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms were extremely comfortable and the garden was ideal for our grandson and dogs to play. A short walk took us into the town with local shops and a few good places to eat. We visited Bourton On The Water and the Slaughters in the Cotswolds and it was lovely coming back to Windsor Cottage each time to relax. Thoroughly recommend Windsor Cottage if you are visiting this wonderful area of England.

Lovely cottage - everything you need for the perfect stay!
Our stay at Windsor Cottage was lovely, fuss free and easy. It is very well equipped and very clean and doesn't feel small at all. We felt right at home. The cottage is a short walk to the high street and also the short stay car park where we left our car overnight but had to purchase a ticket in the mornings. Two very small niggly points was it only had one toilet and there was never available parking on the road however this was not a problem as we parked in the car park a minutes walk away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this accommodation.

Great cottage in Winchcombe.
Windsor Cottage is one of the most comfortable, clean, warm and secure places we have ever stayed in. It is situated in a position close to the High Street and all amenities. We went to all the places of interest which were not too far away. We will return to this delightful cottage. We have a year old puppy who also enjoyed her stay too. It was definitely Home From Home.

We will return
Situated in the middle of Winchcombe this cottage provides everything you need for a short Cotswold break. Downstairs is well set out, the kitchen very well equipped and a reasonable size, the dining area perfectly good for four and the sitting room comfortable and cosy, can't wait to return when it's colder and sit by the woodburner. The back garden is a lovely cottage garden opening onto a large lawn and sitting area. The front garden needs an hours tender loving care. The downstairs bathroom and toilet is well suited for the purpose it is there for. Upstairs the front bedroom (ours) is lovely and comfortable with its own wash basin and shower, no toilet though. The other bedroom ( our friends lost the toss) is comfortable but sparse but does exactly what is required of it. Above all the cottage is clean, well equipped, and a very reasonable price for the Cotswolds. I have looked at and stayed in other Cotswold accommodation, this is the best for the location and value, don't waste time shopping around, book it.

The perfect cottage
Windsor cottage felt very homely and had everything you need, from a well-equipped kitchen to walking maps and games. It's in a lovely location to explore the Cotswolds but is also a great cottage to relax in with a large garden and a comfy lounge. We just wish we could have stayed longer!

Lovely pet friendly holiday cottage with everything you could need for your stay
We would highly recommend a stay here, it is in a great location, the cottage is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a stay. We were lucky enough to enjoy a very hot May long weekend, and were able to make use of the garden, which is also lovely. We used the car park which is just 150 yards away, as the spaces on the road were usually taken but this caused no problem at all. We found a dog friendly pub just down the road so our dog was happy too. The owners were a pleasure to deal with. I wish we could stay longer and would highly recommend this cottage.

Super cosy cottage
Windsor Cottage is a super, cosy cottage just off the main street in Winchcombe. Has everything you need for a weekend or week's stay. Cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, wood burner fire, WIFI, TV etc etc etc. There is also a long garden with outside seating but too cold for us this April. There were lots of provisions in the cupboards for you to help yourselves too, and milk in the fridge for that all important first cup of tea when you arrive, (which I realise we forgot to replace when we left!!!!). Some might find the stairs to the bedrooms a little steep but this is an old cottage! If eating out, do go to the Plaisterer's Arms. It looks small but it is lovely inside with a welcoming Landlady and excellent Chef! So please, we want to book again for next year.

Windsor Cottage is lovely. It is well equipped and in a great location in Winchcombe. We have had a lovel holiday here. The bathroom is downstairs and there is one loo. The second bedroom us very tight for two people. BUT it's a cottage!!!!! With a great garden..... And with organisation four adults can have a great holiday. Reasonably priced, great wee town, fab pubs and lots to do.
