Beautiful village
Sweet cottage in a village with lots to see. And in an area that is stunning. Quiet garden at the back, especially nice in the mornings for breakfasts. Few parking-places in the street outside, but good parking within a 300 meters distance. Recommended..

Quaint cottage in great location
We had a lovely 3 night stay in this cottage. The location is quiet but very central, the cottage was very comfortable and well equiped. The village of Winchombe was very picturesque with a number of good pubs, shops and restaurants. All highly recommended.

Wonderful stay
We had the most wonderful time at Windsor cottage. It is perfectly located, is really well equipped and is beautifully decorated. Two very good sized double bedrooms, really cosy living room, fab dining room and well equipped kitchen made our stay really enjoyable.

Lovely cottage in a very pretty location
Stayed at Windsor Cottage Monday to Friday and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage is very pretty on a suprisingly quiet road despite being very close to the centre of town. The cottage is extremely comfortable, warm and well equipped, and lends itself to a very relaxing break. Although there are only a few parking places near the cottage there is a short stay car park a minute up the road which is free after 5.30pm so if you plan to be out and about during the daytime you only need to pay for parking in the mornings. It's quite a reasonble cost but there is also a long stay car park a few hundred yards away which I believe is cheaper. Winchcombe is a delightful place with lots to see and do and plenty of cafes, restaurants and pubs. It's also very convenient for a lot of other places in the Cotswolds. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful Cottage
Highly reccommended this Cottage. A real home far from home. The Cottage is ideally placed for visiting interesting places like; Snowshill Manor & Gardens, Burton on the Water, Hidcote Gardens, Hailes Abbey, Tewkesbury, Broadway and very many other places. Winchcombe is a lovely old town with nice shops. Sudeley Castle is within walking distance.

Wonderful Winchcombe stay!
Windsor cottage is a perfect retreat to either get away from it all or use as a base to explore the wonder cotswolds! Based in the heart of Winchcombe you have all the amenities on hand, local minimart, shops, restaurants, bars, and the beautiful Sudeley castle as well! I can honestly say, this our second stay was even better than our first and most certainly will not be our last!

Fantastic cottage so clean everything provided and fabulous location
Great central location cottage is beautiful, very clean and well equipped. Owners were so helpful when booking and helped recommend places to eat. Lovely garden to sit out in. I can strongly recommend the Corner Cupboard to eat at great food and service at a good price. Many thanks we will be having another holiday at Windsor Cottage.

Cottage was in perfect location in perfectly located Winchcombe
Windsor Cottage has all the niceties one requires for a cozy stay on cold March days. Plenty of wood and kindling, as well as starter for the two fires a-day we enjoyed for the first five days of our stay. Combination clothes washer/dryer worked well, as did the dishwasher. My wife and I are in our middle to late seventies and in great shape so the stairs, although somewhat steep, weren't a problem. Handrail on the left, going up, was good. We left the dining room light on low for night-time visibility and all was good. Enjoyed television, before the fire most nights. Winchcombe has everything one needs for a stay. At least 5 really good inns/pubs for eating. We had some very good food at the White Hart and two others (One started with a P and the other was the Corner something or other.) Parking in front of the Cottage is first come first served. Short term paid parking is 100 feet or so away ( read the rules carefully ) and long term parking is 5minutes away if it's cold and 10minutes if you take it easy. Long term is only 1pound for 24 hours, a good deal. Another good thing is that the owner is very responsive by e-mail, there's wireless, for any questions you might have. The town gets 5 stars also. Centrally located and easy to get in and out of. I'd do it again in a minute. George Clouette

Great value! Everything a family of four wants!
We were very happy with Windsor cottage. It had all the conveniences we wanted including a wood fire and lovely yard with squirrels, birds and all the rest of it. Well stocked cupboards with basic essentials and very clean and homey. Great location, Winchcombe is the perfect base in the Cotswolds and the town centre is walking distance. Parking wasn't really a problem, might be busy in the summer though? The only slight downside was the bed was a little small in the main but it's an old stone cottage, probably very old and there's no way a bigger bed would fit in the room anyway. Not a huge deal unless you are a really big person, I guess! But overall, we loved Windsor cottage and would definately go back.
