What a fantastic place to stay!!! Fabulous little cottage Immaculate in every way, stones throw from the Cathedral.
This is the ideal place to stay for a visit to Lincoln, beautifully appointed cottage within 10 minutes walking distance of the city centre, everything was immaculate and Louise was the perfect host despite us arrival much later than planned, A welcome tray of goodies was much appreciated and relished, I will certainly be going back and have already recommended it to my family and friends.

Lovely house, beautifully decorated close to castle, cathedral and restaurants.
As descibed in the advert, it is luxuriously decorated and furnished and only a short walk will take you to the castle, cathedral and many of the pubs and restaurants in the area. No problems with parking as the included residents parking means you can park outside the property. We had a very comfortable week.

Wonderful location in a beautiful house
I stayed here for six nights with my family (children aged 17 and 6). All communication with Louise was great prior to arrival and she was very welcoming on arrival. The tray of goodies was much appreciated too. The house is furnished to a very high standard, beautifully comfortable beds and lovely decor. It really felt like a little house of luxury. It is very close to the city centre, merely a 5 min walk. It was the first time we had visited Lincoln - the accessibility the house afforded us made it the perfect family holiday, I am planning our next visit already!

First Class holiday rental.
Location of property is perfect for the amenities and attractions that Lincoln has to offer. Easy walking distance to Castle, Cathedral, Museum, shops and restaurants. (Steep hill is exactly that (must hold my hands up to walking down but caught bus back up) Lots of interesting places to visit if you wish to drive. House was beautifully decorated and maintained. All rooms are comfortable and offer the luxury as described . In spite of being so close to all amenities it is peaceful and relaxing. Excellently equipped, a real feeling of home from home. Louise was there to meet and greet us, a welcoming pack (Wine, biscuits and chocolate) much appreciated. Louise was helpful and friendly. Would love to visit again, even without the local attractions the property alone sold it for us .

Wonderful weekend
Wow ! It's like staying in a 5 star holiday house. Beautifully finished and extremely comfortable. It felt like home, which was perfect. Louise's welcome ideas (don't want to spoil anything) just the icing on the cake. Would highly recommend and would definately book again.

Comfort and welcoming
We enjoyed our short stay at Cecil Street. Louise was there to meet us and made us feel extremely welcome. The house is first class with everything supplied, and toasty warm which we appreciated as we arrived at the same time as the mini beast from the east. Thoroughly recommended to anyone visiting Lincoln, it is central, within east walking to any of the highlights of this interesting and handsome city. For the foodies out there, we ate Thai, Spanish, Greek, English food, and it was all delicious. Get to Lincoln and stay at 50 Cecil Street

Immaculate & beautiful home in great location.
It was a privilege to stay in this absolutely stunning & immaculate house! The decor & design of this house was amazing- from the carpets and soft furnishings to the mirrors & pictures on the walls- we loved everything in it! The owners have also thought of everything that a guest could want: the kitchen had every appliance you could ask for (toaster, coffee maker, washing machine, dishwasher etc) and everything was supplied that you could possibly need for cooking & dining. There was also a cd player, dvd player and massive tv in both the lounge and main bedroom. The beds & pillows were also very comfortable and the shower was powerful. The owners thoughtfully provided a lovely welcome pack which was much appreciated. We were lucky in that it was sunny enough for us to sit in the garden whilst we were there , the garden furniture is situated at the end of the garden in a lovely quiet and peaceful spot. In fact, the street that the house is in is extremely quiet despite being so near the town. As a group of 3 ladies not into gadgets, we had trouble getting the dvd player to work but we phoned the lovely owners and they took the trouble to come to the house and show us how to do it! The location is perfect: a few minutes walk to the Lincoln Cathedral and Castle and from there, a lovely walk down Bailgate and Steep Hill full of lots of interesting shops, pubs and teashops. Once you get to the bottom on the High St, it's a few minutes walk to the bus station where you can get a bus that brings you back up the hill (saves that huge climb back up Steep Hill )and drops you around the corner from your holiday home! There are also lots of restaurants and pubs within walking distance for evenings out. We would love to return to this beautiful home if we return to Lincoln for a holiday break.

What a beautiful home. So close to all the attractions but on such a quiet street. Included everything a person could want. Hope to stay again on our next visit.
