About the neighbourhood
The neighbourhood is diverse, where tourists, commuters and trendy locals all live, work and play. It supports an established and growing art centre that is also of historical interest. It has environmentally friendly nature reserves in close proximity and the estate sits next to the banks of `Old Father Thames'. Of notable interest is the granite plinthed memorial at the rivers edge that marks the nearby site where on December 19, 1606 three small ships laden with supplies and 105 “adventurers” set off on a journey west. Their destination was Virginia, USA.

By Tube: Take the DLR tube line from Bank station to East India Dock station. By car: Enter E14 2DG postcode on satnav. We're very close to the A13 & A406 (North Circular). M25/M11 intersection is approx 25km away (32 minutes). By plane: London City Airport (5km) and a short taxi ride or Stansted Airport (approx 50km and 46 minutes by car or taxi) are the closest/quickest to us. Heathrow is approx 40km if driving through central London & Gatwick is approx 60km.
