Famous for its maritime history as well as being the home of time, Greenwich is a picturesque area situated on the banks of the River Thames. Sleek, wooden floorings and a beautiful view on the city skyline from the balcony, this apartment is just the perfect retreat to explore London. I am looking forward to your stay! Space This stylish 2-bedroom apartment is the perfect base when visiting London. Located in the maritime area of Greenwich, minutes from Canary Wharf, it offers beautiful views of the city skyline. You’ll be right in the hub of the city but able to escape the hustle and bustle! The open-plan kitchen, living and dining areas make clever use of the space to make it feel light and airy. You can relax on the sofa and make yourself at home. It’s a welcoming and inviting space where you can relax and enjoy the company of your family and friends. The comfy sofa is just ideal to soak in whilst watching your favourite show on TV or to enjoy the beautiful views from the sunny balcony, the ideal spot for a Sunday brunch outdoors. The sofa unfolds into a double bed, adding 2 more sleeps to the propriety. You don’t even have to leave the room, if you’re caught up with your stomach crumbling: the open-space layout gives you access to the modern kitchen, with a spacious and sleek countertop. All the appliances are modern and easy to use and include a microwave, an oven, a toaster and a kettle. There’s even a welcome pack stuffed full of coffee, tea (of course!), and proper English scones. Both bedrooms host a comfortable double bed made to hotel standard with fresh luxury linens; what more do you need for a good night’s sleep? You don’t have to live out of your suitcase: plenty of storage room means you can get unpacking and start feeling at home right away. You look great in that dress! One of the bedrooms also features a work desk, so if you still need to get those e-mails out of your inbox, you have a quiet place to do it. The flat hosts 2 large bathrooms, so no queues admitted! You can either have a quick, energising shower or a long, relaxing bath: up to you! Soft, cotton towels and toiletries are provided to each guest. My property will be professionally cleaned before your stay. Access Guests have access to the entire apartment. It is paramount that we respect our neighbours. Interaction My friends at Hostmaker are looking after my home while I am away; they are a short-lets management service team who know London like the back of their hand! I trust them to look after you and give you a warm welcome! If you have any questions about your stay, please get in touch through the channel platform. Neighborhood Famous for its maritime history as well as being the home of time, Greenwich is a picturesque area situated on the banks of the River Thames with plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars, as well as the large expanse of Greenwich Park and The Wilderness Deer Park to explore. Many would consider Greenwich to be one of the most historically rich neighbourhoods of London, with the area dominated by the grand Old Royal Naval College and, further up the hill, the Royal Observatory which sits on the meridian line (the point from which all time zones are calculated around the world). The maritime heritage of the area is summed up in the presence of the beautiful Cutty Sark - an imposing old clipper ship used to speed tea from Asia to Victorian Britain - which is open to the public throughout the year. You can also visit the National Maritime Museum, in the grounds of the Naval College, for a taste of Britain’s nautical history. Greenwich is well known for the quality of its restaurants and pubs, so you’re unlikely to go hungry or thirsty during your stay here. For food try Zaibatsu for the best noodles and sushi in town, it gets busy, only takes cash and is BYOB (bring your own beer)! There are a few local favorites, Sefa for their Turkish grill and Mountain View, for their Indian cuisine. As for pubs, we recommend The Gypsy Moth, with its large beer garden and stunning views of the Cutty Sark, and also The Old Brewery, located within the beautiful grounds of the Old Naval College. Greenwich Market is open 7 days a week and features a wide variety of stalls selling everything from art to fashion and jewellery to delicious food. We particularly recommend The Andes Empanadas for a taste of South America. Transit Staying in Greenwich offers easy access to Central London with quick transport options including tube, South-eastern rail, DLR connections and MBNA Thames Clippers riverboat services. The Emirates Air Line cable car also makes for a fun trip with stunning views over the city. The Flat is a 10-minute walk to North Greenwich tube station on the Jubilee line which is only one stop from Canary Wharf. London Bridge is only ten minutes by tube. The area is well-serveMore
