This flat is very bright and spacious overlooking trees and greenery all around which is a real treat especially being in the heart of the modern financial district of London. Canary Wharf is only five or ten minutes away with its huge underground shopping areas, its bars, restaurants, cinemas, etc. Also, the flat is only five minutes away from a massive supermarket. When using the train, the flat is right between Crossharbour and South Quay stations. Only five minutes walk to each of them.. House Rules and Logistics - All, and only, guests have keys to the flat. Basic manners, respect, and consideration are expected in terms of noise, as the flat should be in a “sleeping mode” between 23:00 and 08:00; thus, when using the common areas during this time, noise must be kept to a minimum with the respective door shut. ​ - The shared spaces are kept immaculately clean for all guests to enjoy; thus, guests are to leave all common areas as clean and tidy as they were originally found. Guests are not to stick or hang anything on the walls. The kitchen may be used for the basic preparation and/or reheating of meals; all utensils, surfaces, and equipment are expected to be thoroughly cleaned and reorganized after use. Raw meat and/or fish is not allowed in the property, so if meat and fish are to be consumed, they should be brought into the flat already prepared and ready to eat. ​ - Environmental awareness is also expected, as the flat operates a “green policy” in all aspects, everything must to be left turned/switched off when leaving the property. Rubbish is not generated within the property; all waste should be separated into two separate bags (one for recycling and another one for organic composting). We are lucky due to the fact that we can place all recyclables/packaging in the same bag, and these items must be thoroughly emptied/drained. All waste must be recycled, by separating the packaging/recyclables from the biodegradable waste. There is a small bin in the bathroom for the disposal of hygienic materials such as dental floss, cotton buds, and feminine care. ​ - The reservation stands strictly for the number of guests noted within the booking (generally one). No other person is expected to enter the listing, for any length of time, without previous arrangement and notice. Choosing to do this without previous communication and approval, will result in the full extra guest fee being charged, and immediate cancellation of the booking. ​ - The check-in is to be arranged in advance, and preferably from the moment of the booking. The check-in window must be taken into account at the moment of placing the reservation, with the full arrival details (landing/arrival time and the airport/station) into London also being shared. ​ - Any request to book is expected to include the purpose of your trip, along with the relevant arrival details as mentioned above, in order for your check-in to be scheduled accordingly. These details are required no later than two days in advance of the check-in. ​ - The cost of replacing ruined linens will be charged. ​ - The listing does not include the use of the address for postal services. If this is required, there is a fee and previous arrangements are to be made. ​ - The house rules listed are not optional but are the very base of the reservation. These house rules are in place to ensure a balance in the entire household and the lifestyle within it; they are expected to be followed and implemented at all times.More
