About the neighbourhood
The underground network is a 10 minute walk away and can whisk you to trendy Shoreditch in 8 minutes or to Clapham Junction - to join with Gatwick services in 10 minutes. The journey into Soho and central London takes 30 minutes and Historic Greenwich is 15 minutes away. The surrounding area - Peckham and Camberwell are vibrant and creative pockets of London - the places to see young artists in London. There are numerous galleries, great bars and amazing local places to eat - Ganapati (Southern Indian cuisine), The Begging Bowl (great Thai food) The Victoria and The Peckham Rye (brilliant gastropubs if you wish to eat local), Petitou (a great place for a cake and coffee stop) and Manze's Pie & Mash shop (a London institution and favourite of David Beckham!) is less than 5 minutes walk ...
How to get there
From the Eurostar take the 63 bus from Euston road - or jump on the tube to Elephant and Castle and then join the 63. 63 Bus - get off just after Bird in Bush road. Our stop is commercial way. The journey from Elephant and Castle takes 10 minutes. The tube goes to either; Peckham Rye (the newest part of the tube) and journeys to Shoreditch (great shopping and eating and drinking) or Clapham Junction - linking up with the Gatwick express; or Elephant and Castle - Bakerloo line from Paddington which is the last stop on the Heathrow express.
