What a delightful place to stay! Sitting on the balcony in the sunshine overlooking the canal, sipping coffee while watching the swans.....so quiet and yet just a seven minute walk to the train and everything you need to hand! The apartment was so clean and comfortable with much thought put into the decoration....we had such a lovely time!

Everything you could wish for within flat. Clean, light and airy. We were able to sit outside and view surrounding area. Close to all forms of transport.

We have just returned from a two night at this fantastic apartment. The interior was excellent and there is everything you need. The apartment is such good value for money. Handy to get into the city of London either by train or bus. We used the taxi service the owner recommended when we arrived and Tom was very nice and informative. We thought it was slightly dear for the taxi but it was easier for us till we got our bearings and got use to the bus and train. Thank you John for letting us use your apartment.

I am a greenhorn when it comes to overseas travel. I contacted the owner of this unit through TripAdvisor and he was so very helpful. The unit is everything it was advertised to be, so convenient to transport. The decor is modern and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything I needed ..... but the awesome middle eastern food available made cooking a choice. John contacted us regularly and also helped us with reliable transport contacts for our longer trips out if London. The apartment was very very clean and tidy. Hot showers with plenty of pressure...a joy. Plenty of storage and 2 big beds. I loved the canal and houseboats, it was really a pleasure to watch these things from the verandah. It was very safe to walk from the station and there are shops around the corner. We had a wonderful time in London and if we are lucky enough to return someday.... we will stay in this wonderful apartment.

We have a very nice start and end with this apartment. It was very well equipped and the location was perfect to reach all destinations we needed. The views on the channel were very nice. The TV, Wifi ad all tech at the flat worked properly. To be repeated!!

We stayed in John's apt for 4 nights with my cousin visiting from Oz who hadn't been to London for years. The location was great for Canary Wharf, St Catherine's dock, using the water taxis to more central London as well as a fairly short walk to Mile End station for the central line. We walked along the canal part of the way. The apt was well equipped and comfortable. We would stay again and recommend.

REGARDING LOCATION Not inner city. Apartment is located in quiet central residential area (where Londoners choose to live). London is HUGE – 9 Zones, the apartment is in Zone 2 central London, the very centre of London (inner city) is Zone 1 (Zone 9 is outer London). The main attractions are in Zone 1 & 2. If you stayed in Zone 1 you would still have to use public transport to see the main attractions, but rental price is higher in Zone 1 & safety & noise can be an issue in Zone 1 The apartment is booked everyday by tourists visiting London to see the attractions. It has over one hundred 5-star reviews because it's a superior apartment for visiting London & because the transport links are great. Transport for London website states travel times from the apartment - only 7 minutes Westferry to Bank station (Centre of London), & +8 minutes to Oxford Circus station.

We had the most wonderful holiday with our stay at John's condo in London. It is situated near Canary Wharf and we were so convenient to everything. We had shopping, a grocery, restaurants and close to the tube. John was so helpful and responsive and we would definitely stay here again!!

I really loved this apartment and had a great time. Great peaceful location, with easy access into city. I go to London quite regularly and this was by far the best place I have stayed at and made my base. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.
