A well equipped studio-style apartment perfect for a city break or business trip. Situated on the popular Unthank Rd filled with pubs, cafes and restaurants whilst only a 15-minute walk from the city centre. Excellent transport links are available with buses to the UEA, Norfolk and Norwich hospital and city centre stopping right outside. Apartment 3 features an open plan kitchen / living space a separate sleeping area with double bed and a bathroom with shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, hob, fridge (with freezer compartment), kettle, toaster and a washing machine. Please note space around the bed is limited and it can only be accessed from one side. This may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. So, the floorboards where uneven throughout the property, especially in the bedroom where they coming apart, especially over by the far side wall. The oven was unclean on arrival, all be only very slightly dirty, but had to give It a wipe down nonetheless. The floor itself was also dusty, so the cleaning of the property beforehand was very minimalist. Very disappointed. The shower head had to be fixed in an upright position, so it did not fall down all the time which was a big shame due to it being rather powerful and warm. The dust behind the TV set was horrific. But, the main issue of the property was the complete lack of any parking whatsoever. Upon enquiry of said parking, the “owners” disclosed several locations that offered suitable non-restrictive parking where the car could be left. However, upon arrival to said locations that where advised by property owners, it appeared that all said locations had restricted, permit only parking. This led to an afternoon of stress for me and my partner, as we had to go around the local area many times out of desperation trying to find a parking space. Fortunately, we ended up finding parking on the JustPark app, but it was still a good 10-15-minute walk from the apartment. As you can imagine, this wasn’t fun at all with bags. This also cost us an extra £23.16 for parking. Our first few nights proved very uncomfortable, due to the very poor mattress and bedframe, which felt like it was coming apart whenever either of us moved during the night. However, the worst part of it all was Leaving the ****star martini in the fridge.

About the neighbourhood
Norwich is a quaint yet vibrant city with plenty to do. On foot, the city centre is only 15 minutes away from the apartment however regular public transport is available right outside the front door and across the street. The city is great for shopping with the usual big brand names however we recommend you venture off the high street and onto Norwich's quirky lanes which are filled with a multitude of independent and boutique stores. You will also find many coffee shops, restaurants and bars, there are too many to mention.
Getting around
15 minutes walk to the city centre, as well as regular buses stopping right outside the apartment.
