This is an old cottage that has a comfortable 'lived-in' feel to it - home from home. It is conveniently located for walking into Settle with its shops, pubs and other amenities. It is kitted out with all you need for your stay - towels and bedding are supplied. The kitchen has recently been upgraded, complete with dishwasher and is equiped with all crockery, cooking equipment and utensils.
The woodburning stove makes the living room and kitchen very cosy, but there is also gas central heating.

This cottage was beautiful in a beautiful setting. It was so homely and perfect for the Yorkshire Dales. We stayed there on a friends getaway from work and it was so much fun! Not far at all from everything you need. Cottage very oldie but...More

About the neighbourhood
Settle has all the shops that you need during your stay - 2 supermarkets, a butchers plus a range of independent shops and don't forget the market on Tuesdays.
It is on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales with its famous 3 Peaks of Ingleborough, Pen-y-ghent and Whernside - plenty of walking nearby. Plus the lovely villages such as Malham and Clapham, caves to explore (White Scar and Ingleborough) and the lovely waterfalls walk at Ingleton.
Getting around
Settle is linked to Leeds and Carlisle by train (Settle station is worth a visit even if you are not catching the train).
The Dalesbus has several services throughout the Yorkshire dales, some coming through Settle.
