We've just spent a great week at the Granary. The accomadation literally has everything you need and is very clean and well maintained. The outdoor area is enormous and great for the kids to run around on. We enjoyed tasty food at the local pub and explored the coastline - a fab holiday despite the changeable weather!

Such a refreshing stay, the cottages are immaculate, well designed and well equipped with lovely views over the communal gardens towards the moors.
More than that though it was genuinely easy to use it as a home with the little things thought about and the welcome pack was a great touch.
Location wise it worked well for us, a short walk to the Park & Ride to Whitby which at £5 return for a family seemed good value along side easy access to Sandsend and the Moors.
I’ve wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we were in the area.

This was our 4th trip to Whitby and our first venture 'out' since lockdown. As always though Jenny had thought of everything to make our stay, not just comfortable, but safe. She really has thought of everything. There were extra things to the norm like hand santiser; antibacterial wipes etc but also all those little extras to help guests make the most of their stay, including slo-cooker; cafetierre and cool bag. The cottage is extremely clean and light and bright. All that remains for guests to do is relax and enjoy the warm welcome of Granary Cottages and the marvellous Yorkshire coast. Hard to beat. Will return ...:)

The cottage we stayed in was superb and everyone in our family of 5 agreed it was faultless.
Modern, toasty-warm and spotlessly clean with every amenity you could wish for.
Our family of 5 stayed here for 3 nights during the February half-term and would recommend it without hesitation.

We stayed as a family of 5 for a long weekend. On arrival we were met by the owner Jenny, a lovely lady who was very welcoming & friendly and had left us a little welcome hamper (including wine!!) and milk in the fridge - we thought that was a lovely touch so thank you Jenny! The cottage was amazing, very comfortable and modern, it had everything we needed and more for a long weekend away, it was like home from home. There is a huge grassed area outside which would be fab for younger children to play and kick a ball around. The horses in the field at the rear of the property were so friendly and the ducks that came to our door to greet us most mornings were an added bonus!! The cottage is a mile from whitby which was a pleasant walk and is only a stones throw from The Stables restaurant and bar which served lovely food - there is a nice little beer garden to the rear of the pub with a few farm animals & a children’s play area. We will definitely return again to The Granary Cottages - our only regret is that we didn’t book to stay longer. Thank you Jenny!

We spent 3 nights here with two of our grandchildren. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and contained all the elements we required for a short break .The cottage is situated in a quiet position yet handy for Whitby and the moors. Our grandchildren enjoyed their stay and we would return and recommend this accommodation,. Much nicer than one we stayed in previously at a different Whitby farm location.

We stayed in March for the weekend. 5 mins drive to centre of Whitby.
Lovely and quiet setting, massive garden for kids to kick a ball. The cottage was immaculately clean, modern and warm ( loved the under floor heating downstairs). Beautifully furnished with comfy sofas and beds. Lovely welcome hamper is a nice touch too. Would stay there again if visiting the area and highly recommend to others. As there are a few cottages would be great for large families or holidays with friends.
Thanks to Jennifer for great communication and making our stay nice and easy.
