Great location! Great hosts!
Highly recommend if you are travelling in a group exploring York. The location is excellent. No more than a 10 minute walk to all major York attractions. The house is spacious and we loved the terrace. Communication from the host is clear and friendly. On arrival there are snacks and drinks provided - even a bottle of Prosecco - which is a lovely touch! Would definitely recommend! It is worth noting the property has many steps so is not suitable for wheelchairs/prams.

Best rental ever
This accommodation is beyond belief. There is not a detail that is missing the quality of everything is superb and on top of that the location is perfect . If you can stay here - do . Lots of stairs though so be mindful if any less able in party No need for photos it is exactly as seen. One tiny criticism- need a teapot :-D

House is Amazing
We stayed last weekend for my sisters 40th Birthday. The house is amazing you could spend days just around the house with all its amazing features. The location is brilliant and the owners are lovely very helpful and accommodating and they leave lovely treats for your arrival. We will definitely be staying here from now on when we visit York if we can get in haha. Once people visit this house I’m sure they will be booking again to so will soon get very busy. Hopefully we can get in next time the house really is amazing I can’t praise the place enough we really enjoyed it

Amazing propert!
Amazing property. Exceptional hosts providing everything you could possibly need for very comfortable stay. Bar and balcony an extra special added bonus. Spotless clean from top to bottom. Comfiest beds ever! Amazing decor in every room. High spec finish everywhere. All 8 ladies in our party will definitely be booking back. Highly recommend. 5 stars from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🙌

A little gem of a find
What a great find. Lovely accommodation. So old with so many original features. Tastefully decorated Spotlessly clean. Excellent hosts. Great location for wandering around York. Well stocked kitchen. Andy had even provided fresh milk for us 💕 The beds were so comfortable and fluffy clean towels too. Will definitely be coming back to stay when next York. It’s a little gem.

Perfect accommodation & location
Beautiful accommodation. Would highly recommend. The owners thought of every finer detail to make our stay perfect. A fridge full of beer and wine with an honesty box, in the quirky small bar area, such a brilliant idea. Complimentary snacks, tea, coffee sugar, milk and prosecco ! Perfect location. Bedrooms beautifully decorated, pillows and mattresses so comfy, living area comfortable and full of character. To top it off a veranda and we were lucky to have sunshine to enjoy the chilled beers! Thank you so much

Brilliant location
Stayed at crookback this month! Been to York a few times and the location of this accommodation was perfect for sightseeing We used all rooms with guests Beds all comfy and clean Baths were amazing! Host very welcoming Parking perfect and not even a 5min walk from accommodation Would recommend
