I had high hopes of staying here whilst working at Queens medical for 3 days. What I wasn't prepared for was the state of the property, here are some highlights 1) Spent 4hrs cleaning skirtings, handrails door frames and surfaces (see pictures of antibac wipes used)* 2) The shower drain was clogged so a shower wasnt possible without it overflowing, so another hour spent cleaning the pubes out of the blocked drain ( see pic) 3) The power shower just outputted at a high temp even on the lowest setting, so a shower wasn't possible. 4) The hot tub instructions said to shower first so unable to use. Regardless if they'd gone to same effort santising that as they did the rest of the place there is no way I'd be immersing my body in hot filth. 5) Glasses and crockery filthy, with food on plates, greasy glasses a disgusting scourer and dishwasher brush (see pics)** There wasnt even any.washing up liquid, so had to go out and buy this ong with scourers from Poundland 6) There was no hot water so owner said to check the consumer unit, this was 8ft off the ground behind the entrance door, so had to stand on a table to do so...not safe 7) There was a load of washing in the machine which had tripped the switch. The owner said that no washing should have been left on! 8) The bed isnt even a small double, I suspect a 3'6" and not suitable for a couple. 9) The wifi didn't work, either from the instructions on the door or the back of the router in thw bedroom or booster in the hallway. So no TV in the bedroom (which was pitifully small). 10) There is an alarm that is going off 24/7, clearly from an abandoned shop that hasnt paid their bill to the monitoring company. I'd expect the owners to track the premises down and complain (after all a previous review has mentioned this). 11) No bin liner, in kitchen bin, owner said they would drop some over, but she couldn't be bothered to do so, as a result we left it bagged up in the kitchen. 12) The pool table is SO uneven that you can't have a game without breaking into hysterics I will NEVER stay here again, just a little tlc would make it acceptable, but don't be fooled by the pics. NHS colleages covering at QMC have asked me to report back as they were interested in staying, now the owner has done herself out of at least 5 immediate bookings for her slovenly attitude. * when I contacted the lady about this she feigned shock saying they'd outsourced the cleaning...yes perhaps to Stevie Wonder or Ray Charles?! ** I took the pictures on the pool table where the light was best and when the the owner saw themshe said I shouldnt put things on the pool table!

Do not stay at Market Street Apartments or any Prim Short Stay property, and don't be fooled by the pictures. This place is the most rank and disgusting place I've had the displeasure to book. Not only was the communal area strewn with rubbish, on entering the apartment I found a previous guests dirty sock and a load of rubbish under the sofa bed. The sofa bed itself, along with the four chairs, was covered in stains. The kitchen worktop was so dirty I had to clean it with bleach and Flash (thankfully I brought my own cleaning products). I called Prim Short Stays to ask for a cleaner to be sent to the property to clean it properly. They said that no cleaner was available until the next day. Not good enough! I then requested that we be moved as I wasn't going to allow my daughters to sleep on that mess of a sofa bed. Whilst they did accommodate my request, the property they moved us to was equally as bad. The house (16 Kings Street) had overflowing bins outside just below the box where you get the key from. Inside hadn't been cleaned, and once again myself and my family had to clean the kitchen. I was glad that we'd brought our own cutlery, cups and drinking glasses (as well as pillow cases and sheets) as I wouldn't have wanted to use any of their stuff. To add to problem, two days after check out, I discover they've charged my credit card £200 for alleged damage to a sofa (sofa bed) that we didn't actually use. On doing some further research from previous reviewers, I discovered that a previous guest had reported the sofa broken and said, "they didn't fix it". So essentially they have charged me for damage that already existed. My research also uncovered that they had charged another guest £200 (who had stayed in the same apartment we were given at Market Street on 11 Aug) for a cracked window that she didn't break. How do I know? Because two days earlier (9 Aug) we checked into that same apartment (which is where we were due to stay but was so dirty I asked to be moved) and the window was already broken. Not only are their properties disgusting, their behaviour is too. DO NOT STAY AT PRIM SHORT STAY PROPERTIES. They are the furthest thing from luxury you can get.

King size bed? Nope! Clean? Nope! Hairs all over, hairs in the bed, toilet roll bits on the bedroom floor, dusty, brown sludge marks on the bathroom floor! Noisy? Yep, outside pub noise, upstairs apartment banging... Beds made? Nope! Make your own! Bag of rubbish outside your front door? Yep! Easy access? Nope! Stacks of stairs and no lift, difficult for our 4 year old son! Can’t wait to leave? Yep! Helpful staff? Nope! Complained 3 times, we were told the cleaning crew would come back, that didn’t happen! We were told we would be moved and upgraded, that didn’t happen! Disgusting! Avoid!!!!

We stayed in apartment 7a, 2 doors up from the one featured. As we were staying over to see a musical at the Theatre Royal the location was unbeatable. The apartment, although up quite steep stairs, was well appointed and fully equipped. We were well looked after by the lady from the bead shop below (owner/manager we’re not sure) and found our stay very relaxing.....the bed was a dream. Parking, if a little costly, was almost on the doorstep and secure. If visiting Nottingham again we will certainly stay there again.

Great location easy to find and parking is near. The apartment was spacious and had everything you need including coffee and tea and even some milk in the fridge. Bed was large and very comfy and the bed settee although small was very comfy also. The bathroom was ok but shower cubicle was small in our apartment no3 . This apartment is in the middle off the city centre so you do get noise from revellers in the street.

Booked the apartment for a 8 day stay. Convenient location, just across the Old Market Square, a short walk from the Old Market tram station and only 2 tram stations away from Nottingham railway station. Beautiful place, clean and well presented. No reception available but they respond very quickly via phone calls. Had initial problem with the wrong internet password then a faulty router but that was quickly solved. Lots of shops and eateries around the area. Two asian supermarkets within walking distance too (oriental mart and Asiana) Tesco express just around the corner, M&S and Tesco Victoria Intu are all nearby for those who plan to cook. However the only down point (and it is not the fault of the apartment) is the noise from the streets. Perhaps it was near Halloween celebrations but each night (I kid you not) there was shouting from the streets from people who had a bit too much to drink. The alarm at the Debenhams opposite was triggered three times in my 8 days stay. This would easily stretch to the wee hours of the morning eg 2 am to 4 am. Just as the drunks have made their way home, the first bus and trams start around 5-5.30 am and they go by the street which the apartment faces. Good location, great apartment, nice housekeeper from Croatia, responsive team from Primm shortstays via telephone but I didn’t get very much sleep last week!

The location was perfect for Rock City, a four minute walk to the venue. The Apartment was bright, fresh and beautifully designed. We wished we had booked two nights as we loved the apartment and Nottingham. A***** apartment.

Stayed in apartment number 2 for one night, which wasn't long enough. I've never stayed in an apartment before, as I usually prefer a hotel! But this place was brilliant. Very clean, very comfortable bed and great location for shops etc. I'm stretched to think of a negative to be honest... (I found the iron but couldn't find the ironing board! This may just be my error, in not looking hard enough.) Honestly couldn't fault the place. Would stay again for sure
