Fabulous
We had a lovely stay. Accommodation was comfortable and well supplied. The flowers were a treat to find in the room. Cake and granola yummy. Gardens and courtyard beautiful. On our walks around the property each morning we saw red kites, deer, squirrels and even a buzzard. The lake was fun to fish . The family and staff so kind and helpful. Definitely a place I would return too.

Dear Ellie Thank you so much for the five star review! We go the extra mile to provide the finishing touches which stands us apart from others. Fresh cut flowers are from our gardens and the cakes are made here on the farm. We've spent 50 years creating a wildlife haven which all our guests love! We hope you return again one day. Kind Regards The Barbour Family

Pure Bliss!
The Barbour family owns a slice of heaven in the Cotswolds! The courtyard was tranquil and beautiful with the cascading fountain and beautiful flower and herb gardens. The renovated let cottages were well stocked if you feel like cooking with all utensils you may need and very comfortable. My adult daughter and I availed ourselves of the idyllic fishing/swimming pond, nice and refreshing on a hot summer day and I even hooked a lovely fat trout for dinner that evening that our hosts also let me use fresh herbs from their gardens and shared a beautiful fresh cucumber with us! Another family with young children played with games in the recreation room which looked like fun. My only wish was that we could have stayed longer!

Lovely week at Heath Farm
Thought we would have a break away from home and decided to have a staycation for the first time in years. I decided to pick a part of the country that we have not realy visited and came across an advert for Heath Farm Colttages on the Premier Cottages web site. The price fo a week was reasonable, and just before our visit was phoned by the owner's son to ask what kind of welcome cake I would like! A great thought and very welcoming. The cottage is part of the original farm complex and has been tastefully renovated. Lovely wood fittings and I like the Moroccan influenced bathroom style! Bed is very comfy and there are two wardrobes which were adequate. Window looks directly out onto the field so occasionally there were sheep and goats right outside! There is a small industrial estate on the farm, with a bakers and a bike shop and other units too, and planty of space to park. Chipping Norton is only 6 miles away and has everything you need shops and restaurant wise.

Family holiday
We’ve had a fantastic week staying at the Beechnut cottage at Heath Farm. The cottage interior is furnished in the most charming way with such taste and quality. The Barbour family gave us a warm welcome. We explored the Cotswolds during the day and got back to the cottage to cozy up for the night in front of the TV and if it was chilly we lit the wood burning stove. Perfect place to chill out and enjoy the quiet pace of life. We would definitely go back and stay probably in the autumn as I would imagine it would be perfect!

Thank you so much for your 5 star review! It's very much appreciated and it gives us great pleasure and reward knowing we've created a haven where lasting memories are forged. We hope you do return again one day and we hope to see you one Autumn when you can roast Chestnuts picked from the farm on your open fire. There's also an abundance of Walnuts, Hazelnuts and Blackberries also on offer in Autumn. Kind Regards The Barbour Family

Excellent Time in the Countryside
We selected Heath Farm from online reviews and photos as we were visiting England for the first time from the US and wanted a try England country experience. After spending a week in the city of Budapest, we arrived to Heath Farm ready for rest and relaxation. I have to say this was the best choice we could have made. The cottage is perfect for two with everything needed for a holiday in the country. Just minutes from local grocery, restaurants and shopping. Excellent central location for visiting the surrounding Cotswolds. We appreciated the cleanliness and attention to detail in the unit, the outside courtyard and farm in general. The owners truly care about the farm and their guests experience. Well done!

Accommodation Excellence
Fresh flowers, and freshly made cake await your arrival at these cottages built using local materials. A little way out of Banbury, the landscape is wide and wonderful. You will need a car to stock the cottage with groceries, and to make the most of the Cotswolds. The only downside is that a stay at the Cottages is expensive.

Thank you so much for your very kind review which we very much appreciate. We continue to ensure we provide the highest standard of cleanliness and service for our guests. The level of maintenance of the cottages and grounds is extensive and is therefore reflected in the prices we have to charge. Kind Regards

Best Holiday Cottages Ever
We have visited heath farm many times over the years and have stayed in all the cottages. The cottages are all very individual , a lovely place to relax , they are the best equipped we have ever stayed in. Just take yourselves and your food you will need nothing else. The location is idyllic. The surrounding gardens give you somewhere to sit relax, read. They also supply the herbs you may need for your culinary efforts which will be a pleasure in the fully equipped kitchens. You feel "far form the maddening crowd" but close to all the Cotswolds has to offer. David and Nina are the friendliest owners ,nothing is too much for them. So treat yourselves to the best holiday cottages ever

About the neighbourhood
The Cotswolds region is an area of natural outstanding beauty and contains many lovely small towns and villages. We are situated in the beautiful north Cotswolds region, 20 miles from both Stratford upon Avon and Oxford. Take in a bit of Shakespeare at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford Upon Avon or one of the other many sites in and around Stratford or go visit the dreaming spires of Oxford, a city of immense architectural and cultural beauty. The nearby countryside is superb with many footpaths and bridleways making the area accessible for walkers and cyclists alike. There's a host of great attractions and activities in the area too many to list here!
Getting around
The most convenient way to see the sights is by car as public transport from the farm is non existent! However, if you wish to have a day out we have great links to public transport from both Charlbury Train station (located 9.2 miles away) with routes to Oxford, Reading, London, Worcester and Great Malvern or from Banbury Train station (located 7.8 miles away) with routes to Oxford, London, Leamington Spa, Birmingham.
Access
Car advised
How to get there
We are located on the A361 between Banbury and Chipping Norton, 200 meters away from the turning to Deddington on the B4031. Easy access from the M40 in Banbury. Nearby villages include Great Tew (home of Soho Farmhouse), South Newington, Wiggington and Swerford. The nearest train stations are in Banbury and Charlbury but a car is highly recommended/necessary as we are not well served by public transport. However, if you fancy a day trip to London during your stay the trains from Banbury run very frequently and the journey is just about an hour. We have ample safe parking here on site with drop off points nearer the cottages.
